We will start with the positives—full Hooke-up on a nice concrete pad, owners were super nice. The cons—The reason we gave it 3 stars is because we have kids and we enjoy camping together with friends. It is the quietest campground we have ever been in and has LOTS of people living there. I think people should know that the people “living” there do not like for families to have fun camping. We respected quiet hours, but were told to be quieter while we were hanging out at the campfire (by someone who lives there), but it was 9:15 at night. Quiet hours weren’t until at least 10. There’s nothing to do there except to stay/sleep in your camper. No one was outside “camping”. This is why we recommend this as a one-night stop-over.

Close to Toccoa Falls, Helen GA, Tallulah Falls State Park, and close to shopping and restaurants. It is a small campground, only 38 sites with three sections. The lettered sites (A-G) are permanent sites, 11-29 are pull through with a concrete parking pad and a gravel parking/seating area in full sun, sites 1A-5 are pull through gravel sites with shade, 0 and 6-10 are back in gravel sites in the shade with a wood deck at the rear overlooking a small creek. Spacing between sites is adequate, and security was above normal - a Toccoa police officer lives in a long term site and a sheriff lives across the street. No dog park, but plenty of green space for walking the dogs. Only amenities are free WiFi (didn’t use it, so no idea about its quality), a shower/bathroom (one toilet, sink, and shower) and a laundry room (one washer/dryer). Owners are not in the park, but pretty responsive to texts/calls. Honor system is the name of the game here. When we got here, there was no one to check-in with, so we called the number at the office, they said “Just put the money/check into an envelope (available at office) and drop it in the mail slot.” (They charge 3% fee for CC use.) Laundry is $3.00 total to wash and dry a load, drop the money same place as camping fee.

We had just picked up our Fifth Wheel and Currahee was our first stop. We loved it, the site was perfect for our 37 footer. Owner was so friendly and welcoming. Nice quiet, well maintained campground. We will be back.

This is a relaxing quiet small campground, easy check-in process. The owners are friendly and laid-back. We loved the deck behind each of the creek side sites, overlooking the creek. Full hookup at such a reasonable price too! We will be back!
A little gem!

Great park with a cool stream running behind my rig. Nearby Toccoa Falls College with an amazing waterfall for only $2 fee. Close to Alpine town Helen. Just off HWY 17. quiet. Perfect for me. Great big level spots with shade and even a Frisbee golf net.
Will definitely be back!

It was not on our mapped route, but absolutely worth the detour to come. Even decided to stay a second night because it was so lovely. Not a lot to add to the previous review. They covered the basics! We only have our digital antenna and weren’t able to pick up any channels, but WiFi was so good that we could use our Firestick for Hulu. But as beautiful as it is outside, there was little time for TV! We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future.
Would visit again

There are a few sites without sewer and a few sites on grass. Campground is located near lots of sightseeing, hiking and cultural areas. This is an area one should stay around for more than one day. We missed the Sunday Buffet at the Toccoa Falls Gate House. It sure looked good!!The owner here has enough property to expand. Payment is the honor system with a mail slot. How great is that! The wi-fi is free and fairly good. We were downloading at 4mps. Restroom/showers are small but adequate and private. TV reception spotty. One security light at bath house. Our site only had a 50A plug. Glad we had an adapter!Thank You, Dwayne. We'll back sometime.....
