We got charged a 10$ penalty for arriving at 9:30 pm so 128$ for 2 nights . We could have damaged their utilities I was told . Hardly anyone here . 2 out of 4 bars with Xfinity Mobile or Verizon & 3 with T-Mobile .

Never had a Campgound do that before especially CDC advised not to travel. They could of at least given us a credit for a future visit. Even campgrounds in Florida during the winter of 2021 didn’t charge for cancellation due to Covid.

We tried finding a place near Atlanta to see the area and settled on this one from the promising reviews. They have a horrible attitude about their facilities, when I questioned if there was a bath house, she said, the email said as much. All sales are final so good luck getting a refund if you got in here and wanted out. It was a mobile home park so all the spaces are well spaced but the concrete pads for the picnic tables are crumbling. For $59 a night the first week of December you would think they would clean their laundry machines and offer a bath house. Thoroughly disappointed.

Our site (185) was lovely with a giant yard. Despite being right off a major 6-lane highway, the park itself is very quiet. The rates are reasonable, and the location is nicely situated just a mile from Stone Mountain so nice morning hikes are just a few minutes away by car. They also have public laundry facilities. The women at the park office are really friendly and helped us find the best spot in the park.CONSNo campground wifi, but because it's close to Atlanta, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint hotspots all work fine. No dog park, or dog poo stations, but there is a dog park just 1.5 miles away. There are no trash cans situated throughout the park, so if you are walking your dog you have to hold your baggie until you get back to your site. No public showers. They only do trash pickup 2x per week, but there is a big trash can at the front of the park to drop off trash on your own.

We were skeptical but there aren’t many options near Atlanta. This is a huge park at 50 acres (according to the maintenance guy). Since this used to be a mobile home park most sites have lots of space around them. There is a mix of RVs and mobile homes – maybe like 60% RVs/40% mobile homes. The park is a little rough around the edges but clean. All of the mobile homes and RVs are well kept and the park is quiet. Most sites are crushed stone parking pads with a concrete patio slab. There is lots of retail very close by and it was only about 30 min from downtown Atlanta. We were also able to find a really nice dog park quite close. There was Wifi in the laundry building which we were fairly close to so we were able to pick that up and it was very good internet access.
