The pool should be larger and there should be more restrooms. Lots of green space and walking, bike riding. Not much to do in the area unless you want to spend $$ at Calloway. FDR park and historical sites in Warm Springs well worth going. Pine MTN. Quaint town

Staff were wonderful. The pool and hot tub were nice amenities. The campground was well maintained. We had an issue with the cable but when we called staff was out there immediately. WiFi worked fine for us.

A tale of good and just okay. We stayed in the front, which is located next to the highway (loud) and the most uneven gravel site I have ever seen. The premium sides have level concrete pads and cable. Par has good amenities. WiFi is dial up speed at best. I would stay again, but only in a premium site.
Good place except for our site!

Newer larger section has few trees but has concrete sites and cable is available in that section. Older section is wooded and sites are on gravel or grass. No cable in that section. We made reservations several weeks in advance but could only get in the older section. My opinion is that the older section would be better for summer use since it has shade trees. The newer section could be much hotter in the summer but would have been fine for this time of year if we could have reserved a site there. There are FHUs at all sites and most are pull through sites. The park also has a few yurts and cabins to rent. Picnic table and fire ring at each site. Laundry, dog park, pool, hot tub, fitness room, laundry, and playground are all available. WiFi did not work at all; our Verizon MiFi worked fine. Verizon and ATT both worked well. We got a few network and PBS channels on the OTA TV. We did not set up our portable satellite because it would not have worked with the trees. Our primary disappointment was we must have had the worst site in the park. The first site they assigned us (#74) was not big enough for our 37 foot fifth wheel. The only other site available in the entire park was #68. It was very unlevel and required boards under the wheels on one side and several blocks under the jack legs. Our friends had nice sites in the old section at #71, #72, and #73. The gravel roads in the older part of the park were eroded and not in great shape with potholes and gullies. The paved roads in the new section were great. The restrooms I checked were clean. We didn’t use any of the other amenities since we were there to enjoy Callaway Gardens and to visit LaGrange and Warm Springs. We would return but certainly would definitely avoid sites #74 and #68.

Stayed in site 121.We called and reserved the same day in early December and even though the office was closed by the time we rolled in around sunset, they had all the paperwork in an envelope by the front door and we stopped by in the morning. The resort was very large with long pull-through sites separated by a good amount of grass and some trees. We didn't try out the pool or the spa since it was pretty chilly outside, but it looks fun for a warmer day. The playground was small but adequate for younger kids. We went to the drive-through Wild Animal Safari zoo nearby and the kids had a blast there.

RV Resort is relatively new with new paved level sites with pull through parking and easily accessible full service hookups. Paved and gravel lanes, newly planted young trees, picnic tables, fire rings, camp store (with after hours check-in), and conference/activity room, 2 fenced dog areas, very nice pool, and bathroom and laundry areas. But quaint town of Pine Mountain with shops and restaurants are worth patronizing! You are very close to FDR Little White House, FDR State Park, Warm Springs, and Callaway Gardens. But a little further out is the Andersonville National Historic Site and Trail. Really enjoyed our stay here at RV park and surrounding area.Only note to add to amenities is watering stations inside both doggie play areas. There are plenty of doggie bag convenience stations throughout the dog walk areas.
It was ok.

It was ok, the pool area was really nice. No shade and the tree at our site kept us from letting the awning out.

It’s more expensive than the rest of the sites they have, but with certain sites you don’t have to leave your site to watch the kids on the playground. I have 3 yr old and a 15 yr old autistic child that I have to keep a close eye on, and this makes life so much easier. Sites are level, and very roomy. Most of the sites in the park can accommodate big rigs if need be. The staff is very nice an accommodating. There is also plenty to do in Pine Mountain, whether it’s antiquing, hiking, horseback riding, or going to the wild animal park.

We were gone for part of it, and while we were there they had a freak ice storm that lasted a couple of days. But the park seemed beautiful, with lots of trees and big level spots. I'd love to come back during the season to give it a real test. It is definitely worth a try, about an hour outside of Atlanta.
