Needed a place overnight on the way to Charlotte. Easy to get to and pull into a site and hook up for the night. Very comfortable!

My biggest problem was getting hold of someone in the office. I called about a million times on the way just to make sure we were good for our booking. No one answered until we’d been sitting outside the front office for a good 20mins, calling the entire hour drive there. We got the answering service but they couldn’t do anything but take a message so it seems to me like an answering machine would be enough & cost less. We wanted to extend our stay a few days but couldn’t get in touch to even make the payment so we stayed hoping no one else was coming in, but figuring how could they if they can’t reach the office either? We finally got a call back to make the payment as we were loading up to pull off, which leads me to believe there is someone watching but they don’t like to answer the phone. Aside from that nuisance, and the awful curb you have to pull over to get into the spot, it wasn’t all bad. Quiet neighborhood besides the fire trucks & police sirens next door just about every day. A lot of people work during the day. Probably full time campers. Not really much else I can say that the other reviews haven’t but that was my experience. Hopefully when this pandemic is over there will be someone in the office FT again.

Considering that Jones is a stones throw from Atlanta and it’s right off of I-85, I’d say it’s worth $35. My site was fairly even and it was an easy pull through. My site was fairly even and it was an easy pull through. If you are looking for any frills, this place is not for you. The short term campground is on your left when you arrive. Don’t make the mistake I made and turn right, that will put you in the wrong place and you will be going over the largest speed bumps, this side of the Mississippi! Yup it caused damage to my trailer. That said, I will be back when we are going to Atlanta next time. PS we didn’t use the restrooms or showers so I can’t rate them...

The staff here is very kind and does the little things to make the experience that much better. Our site was easy to get to, a little un level (but that’s not their fault). Very comfortable site and super quiet area. We didn’t have any noise issues with any neighbors. Would most definitely stay here again.

Definitely more of a long term location, but this was the perfect spot to set up camp for the night & get to spend some time with family we don't see very often. Spaces are small, but pretty level. We will likely use this spot again next time.

  • Quiet and convenient. Good value for Atlanta, and its city camping ;)

The spaces are cramped with no tables etc. The sites are gravel/dirt and not well maintained. Most of the people here are permanent and most of the trailers are rundown and shabby and lots of crap around the trailers. Sirens can be heard all night long as can the traffic on I85 ( not the fault of the park). On a positive note the laundry area is nice and clean. I can’t speak about the showers as I haven’t seen them. All in all I find this a scary place to stay and kind of depressing. Also the electricity sucks. You can’t run air conditioning in the summer and if you want to use a hair dryer you have to turn everything else off. I feel that since there are no other RV parks in the area they just don’t feel the need to be competitive. Sad really.

This was our favorite so far. The weekly rate came out to $25 per night for 50amp & full hookups. Location is great, easily accessible to the city. This is a large park with mostly what seemed to be full time residents. They have a row up front for short term stays. The park is completely gravel and roads are paved. Spaces are spacious for what they are and pull through. Never checked out the restrooms, but the laundry room deserves a mention. It is a commercial laundry facility. The machines a huge and all commercial. They were also cheap $1.50-$2.50 to wash depending on the size machine and $1.00 to dry. They also had a mega huge machine for comforters. Written by Amy.

This isn't much more than a very long gravel parking area with hookups, adjacent to a mobile home community. Most RV sites have semi-permanent residents, but there are a handful of pull-through sites for up to 14 days. It's in a heavily developed suburb, so there are many stores and restaurants in the immediate area, though the park is tucked away a bit and feels fairly private. The sites are very long but close together, most with no shade and very little grass. There's a long grassy area along one side of the park which is good for walking dogs, but there's no good places to walk outside the park since it connects to a busy main road. We did find a great fenced-in dog park about 10 minutes north-east of Jones RV Park. We had no problems with traffic noise even though it's close to the interstate. We have no complaints about the park - it was reasonably clean, utilities worked, staff was friendly. As a place to park while visiting the city, it was exactly what we needed - just don't expect anything fancy or pretty. We would stay here again if we needed to visit downtown, but if we planned to spend much time at our coach, we'd probably look for someplace a little more attractive.

The park is located right off I 85, but there isn't any traffic noise. This is a no frills park filled mainly with long term residence. Sites are pull thru, gravel and close together but fairly level. Utilities are shared in many cases so your door opens to your neighbor. The short stay people don't stay around during the day. There is a row of pull thru sites for those staying less than 14 days. If you want to use a satellite dish, you want to be closer to the office. The further away from the office you go, there are very large trees that block all dishes, even those on the ground. There are showers and a laundry available. There is no one in the office on the weekend so you just park and pay. But if you want visit anything in the city of Atlanta, this is the place to stay. The park is very quiet.
