Questionable neighborhood with gang bangers at the abandoned store and crack heads in the street, we heard not one but two series of gunshots. The campground itself seemed ok, but no one answers the phone which is very frustrating. Did not take time to check out any of the facilities. Do not recommend.

The park was fine for a stop over but didn’t feel too safe once the sun went down. I mean, it was fine, but I didn’t leave my bay doors unlocked at night. I would keep cruising by if I passed through Macon in the future.

The owners have no presence here, so if you need anything, you’re on your own. We pre-paid for two nights, but once we saw the place, we turned around and moved on.We requested a full refund since we did not stay there at all. The owner said they would only refund one night. So, I had the credit card company go to bat for us and get the refund for both nights.

We didn't hear from them, but continued on hoping the travel gods would be with us. When we arrived at the open gate about 8:30 pm, there was a sign with a number for assistance. I called and our Roverpass reservation was promptly accepted and the camp host drove to the gate to escort us to our spot. He was very friendly and pointed out the laundry room and bath house and offered up the included wifi which we didn't use. For us, this was just a convient overnight stop close to Interstate 75. I would recommend this for RVers needing a place to spend the night The campground was very quiet at night, and the nearby highway noise got better as the night went on.
