We were visiting friends in the Ellijay area and this was pretty much the only campground that we felt we could fit into. Check in was quick and easy, we were shown our spot and then we were led there, it was an easy pull through. We had ample space, a fire pit and picnic table and several trees. The trees provided some nice shade, but we still managed to get all 3 satellites. The park seems to have mostly people living there full time, but everyone we encountered was courteous and pleasant. The RV’s were well cared for and work was being done on the common areas for the summer season. They had washer/dryers that looked nice, I don’t recall the price but it was reasonable ($1 or $2). The location was convenient to Ellijay and Blue Ridge, there is a Walmart, Engles and Lowe’s just down the road. Our AT&T cell signal was a bit weak, but worked and with the booster it was fine. We enjoyed watching the resident groundhogs. There was some road noise, but it wasn’t bad at night. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely return.
