We didn't use the park's laundry room, but it appeared clean and the machines looked large and new. The restrooms/showers looked dated, but seemed clean upon a peek in (didn't use.) Access to Elko amenities is easy, access to the Ruby Mountains for fantastic hiking is the best, which is what we were in the area for.

We arrived about 15 minutes after the office had closed but the park manager very kindly took us in. It was an easy in-and-out, with good, clean bathrooms. A very decent spot to stay while passing through.

We stayed here one night passing through Nevada on our way home. The park is clean a well kept. Lots of permanent residents which are separate from the short term people. Full hookups ups and really nice staff is refreshing. The park is 10 mi outside of elko and there is a train track about a half mile from the park.

Dreaded side by sides, but done so that they are spacious. Staggered so you do not open directly to your neighbor’s door. Freeway close means you will hear it. No doubt there is a substantial train center nearby. Both effectively dealt with by our ‘white noise’ at night. Very nice young lady, Melissa, running the office. No doubt there is a substantial train center nearby. Both effectively dealt with by our ‘white noise’ at night. Very nice young lady, Melissa, running the office. No cable or internet, but great over the air TV reception. The 2 other parks in town we first looked into were booked. Drove by both coming in. The one we could see into did not look superior to Valley View. This was for sure the least expensive park we have ever stayed at; would have been great at twice the price!
