We loved this park. There were two sewer hookups so you could have one for each bathroom if you have two. Check-in was easy and the woman at the front desk was pleasant. Park was quiet both day and night. Clean too! We were only there for one night.

Self check-in via the link in our confirmation email = contactless check-in. Process was VERY easy and efficient. You will hear some noise from the train and I-80 due to proximity to the campground but I HIGHLY recommend campers purchase a white noise machine and you will not be bothered by such noises. (we use one from Amazon called Adaptive Sound Technologies Sound+Sleep SE Special Edition High Fidelity Sleep Sound Machine with Real Non-Looping Nature Sounds, Fan Sounds, White, Pink & Brown Noise, & Adaptive Sound Technology)Had a brief encounter with front desk staff on our way out and she was very nice and friendly. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

The place is very well maintained and clean. I'm usually a deep sleeper but the trains passing by and blasting their horns all night didn't let us sleep.

We stayed here one night on our way from Salt Lake City to South Lake Tahoe, and we're not disappointed! Checked in as we were pulling in and were assigned a site number. We never interacted with anyone. Gravel sites, nice concrete patio with a table. We highly recommend this park!

A fine spot for a night. The bathrooms, showers, laundry and grounds are clean and well kept. Train noise isn’t that bad. Staff was very nice. Spots are wide with easy in and out. WiFi only worked in the office for me. I even walked around the grounds a tested it. It probably shouldn’t be advertised as having it in the park.

For my 1 night stay with a 24' trailer I was charged $51 and change for a pull-through spot, which barely fit my needs. The clerk was not friendly and a bit on the hasty side. I told her my complete rig was 49' long when hooked up and she told me the site was 75' long so I thought I had plenty of space. Turns out that the hookups are more in the middle of the site so by the time I aligned the dump port on my trailer with the pit opening my bumper was at the edge of the street. I wanted a pull-site so I could stay hooked up for the night and leave quickly in the early morning but the sites are sloping so I had to unhook to level out the trailer for the night. The internet was a draw but it turns out to not work very well. The place is very clean though and showers, laundry, and hookups all are good. Kind of noisy at night though with a lot of train whistles blasting, which woke me several times. OK place overall but overpriced in my estimate. Location is in town and not far from the interstate.

The park is nicely maintained and the pull-ins are super easy to access. Each spot is a dirt pad and a concrete slab with a picnic table that you can easily line your steps with. Some have grass and there's gravel around the site. #3 has an area of grass on the backside that was great for our dog to use but it backs up against the entrance road so can get a little busy in the mornings (people leaving) and around lunchtime when new arrivals pull in. The campground internet was not working when we were here but we have a few different hotspots so we didn't care so much. Verizon was by far the strongest and most reliable but our AT&T worked when we needed it but was hit and miss at times and we had to put our MIMO antenna facing west to get any valuable connection. Oh yeah, there is a train yard very close by so there is train noise throughout the night but when you sleep as heavy as we do, you hardly notice. If you are a light sleeper, I'd recommend putting earplugs in because they will throw a horn a few times a night. There's a tiny market on-site but we never used it because there is a grocery store about a 2-minute drive or a 5-minute bike ride away. You can walk to the Red Lion Casino if you wish but with COVID going on, you have to wear your mask the entire time you are inside. Elko is a small town so there is not a ton of things to do but if you like to explore the outdoors, Lamoille Canyon is about 30-minutes away and has some pretty awesome hiking and makes for a very pretty drive up the canyon. We also made some day trips up to Idaho as well. RV Repairs:Cummins Sales & Service: As I said, we stopped here to get some repair work done and the Cummins shop is awesome to work with (Terry service manager really looks after you). They have 4 RV parking spaces with electric boxes if you just need to pull in for the night or two and you wouldn't need to book a stay at a campground if you wanted to avoid it (no water). We needed to pull our coach into Cummins 3 times while here and since we live full-time in our RV, they always made sure they would have it back to us by 5 the same evening and get us back in when they received parts. Gateway RV:Taking advantage of our 30-day stay, we also had Gateway RV do a number of things for us and they were equally as cool to work with. We were having an electrical problem with one of our slides that had been looked at by 2 other shops with no fix. Jeremy at Gateway figured out the problem pretty quickly and fixed it in half a day. We also called them out for mobile service which was just $20 for the callout fee. They get pretty busy so it's best to call ahead or have patience with their schedule. When they do get to you, they do great work. All in all, Elko is a super friendly town

It should be noted that our stay coincided with COVID so other amenities were not available. The main reason we gave 4 out of 5 stars was because the WiFi was only good enough for email and there was no view to speak of. Would stay again.

Everything is clean, good water pressure, good electricity. Kathy & I only disliked the cell service issue. Yes, WIFI works well, and we used it off and on during our stay. It’s slow but present. Just don’t try to run your business using it. It won’t download a movie either...If you’re hoping to find Cannabis (which is legal in Nevada) forget it. There is none nearby. We had to drive 3 hours one way south to Ely Nevada to buy some. It’s a long drive... Best to get some in Reno or Vegas. Aside from that, this is a really groovy place! Nice and quiet except for the occasional train horn.

Checked sites on satellite & booked online..."premium site" #18 so we wouldn't have to unhook & we'd have a large grassy area behind the site to run the dog. As sometimes happens at RV parks, they switched our site and gave us "premium site" #44 instead. Same $$, long enough pad, but no grass on "our" side of the site, just gravel/pavement & a picnic table that needed to be retired (saw numerous other tables in the same condition throughout the park). Looking at my receipt later, I noticed a $1+ dollar "online reservation fee" (no biggie & I probably had overlooked when I originally booked). Kinda sucks tho that I was charged to book a specific site online, which I ended up not getting anyway...Small onsite pool was cool & clean, but jets didn't work. Jacuzzi water was colder than the pool, jets not working there either. Access is given to a neighboring hotel's amenities, which we did not use...but you have to either walk up a big hill to get there, or call the hotel shuttle (limited availability). As prominently posted in the office, kiddos under 18 must be "under adult supervision" at all times while in the park...although we saw a few well-behaved rule-breakers riding their bikes alone so they must not enforce this one too strictly. For the $$ we expected a bit more out of this spot.

The camp is very clean with manicured grassy areas, clean showers and restrooms, awesome clubhouse with pool table and huge TV screen, spacious laundry room. WiFi was pretty good most of the time. I liked the fact that you have a concrete pad by the RV (the site is gravel and pretty level). The girls at the front desk are super professional and friendly. I have to say the vibe of the city is super friendly in general. We enjoyed very much and will definitely stay again!!!

I personally wouldn't want to stay here for an extended stay unless I had business out in this area or using it as a home base for other activities. It's conveniently off the primary freeway and is very well-kept. The spaces, especially the pull-throughs are good size and easy to access. That being said, it is located in the middle of the desert with a railroad yard not too far away. In the mornings especially, it seems the railroad traffic is pretty heavy so the rumble of the trains and the occasional horns will ensure you know it's morning. In context, we used this location as a rest stop for a longer trip, so we didn't really stay to check out what the community or surrounding areas could offer. So, if you're in need of a pitstop, this is a good location to stop for the night if needed. Unfortunately, I would not recommend for a primary stop or end destination.
