We chose this park due to its location for theme parks, centrally located between East & West Coasts of Florida and monthly rates. But beware of the rates as they seem to change at the whim of the owner with not much site improvements. Summer rates seem to be based upon 'resort' prices which this is not even close to. The Park Models are mostly in one section, a few mixed. There are Long Term campers that may have been here since the park was established. The streets are asphalt, sites are grass. There are 3 concrete block bath houses, two need upgrades, the third was newer. Showers were individual stalls. Lots of space available for picnic tables & shelters. The Clubhouse needs upgrade, no restrooms (only at the office), is locked & closed all the time - you have to get the key at the office - office closes at 8pm. The 2 shuffleboard courts are uncovered, all other games are checked out at the office & have to be set up. They try to have scheduled activities but is at the whim of regulars. Campground polices seem to not be enforced. Both paid & work-camp staff were very nice, friendly & attentive. Access is easy, pay attention to exit & entrance driveways off of SR-50. Florida Turnpike is easier on/off to the West. You can hear traffic & residential noise, but not too bothersome. The City of Winter Garden is just a delight, every Saturday is a Farmer's Market, the downtown is very bicycle & pedestrian friendly. Cell service on AT&T was good but the down-stream from the cell site to Internet was very temperamental. Verizon cell signal was worse.

  • Good experience and good site for the parks

When we called state stop we got friendly assistance and was able to schedule booking for that night even though we arrived just past closing. Campground has many residential campers but it wasn’t too crowded and we were able to find a good spot. Sites have everything you need 30amp, 50amp, water, sewer, picnic table. Bathrooms were cleaned every morning at least. We stayed 5 nights and would go back.

This park is mainly residential with all grass lots. Friendly staff but really far from everything. Also, we could not get any uber/lyft service out here.

They will accept your mail/packages.The reservations are accepted over the phone - no confirmations - no credit card charges. All roads are paved.Verizon MiFi download at 7.65 MbpsCost of stay is much less than the Encore park across the street.Cons:It is slightly rundown, especially as you go to the back rows of the park. Many older trailers/rvs that are not road worthy any longer. One had 4 trash containers stacked against it and smelled of cat urine. For visits to the Winter Garden downtown area or bike rides on the West Orange Trail you have to cross a very busy 4 lane road at cross walks. That turned out to be a big negative to us. If we were going to stay in Winter Park again would pay the extra $$ to go to the Encore Park. When pulling out with your RV you need to turn right/East on Rt 50 because of traffic. So then we drove to the Harbor Freight parking lot to turn around and head West on Rt 50 to our next destination.

  • Basic RV Park with a great price and very nice people running it.

This campground has all the basics; laundry, small store, nice pool, couple of ponds, roads are newly asphalted and a number of restrooms and shower buildings. The lots are all grass and most seem to be level and include a concrete patio and picnic table and many are satellite friendly. The park has a lot of full time residents, the few we meet were very social and welcoming. Overall for the fee it is a really good value.
