Hickory Point did not disappoint! While limited water sites the several they have are great. The staff were always helpful and even held weekly parties in the clubhouse. We stayed over the Christmas and New Year's holiday, and the Owners held two big parties with all the food you could eat.Even had free coffee and donuts/bagels on Tuesdays, and Thursdays! We are already booked for January 2023 for 3 weeks...

We recently moved to Florida, staff did not explain about super low tides and dangerous red tide, and happily assigned a dock for the boat which was useless as by 6 PM the boat was sitting on the mud. red tide brought dead fish everywhere, so not a great view neither. All of that was OK as rookie mistake as we are getting to know the area, but then they charged more money for the extra days due to “holiday rates” they did not explain. After we left they charged extra for some excess “electricity” because we stayed for a week. We have stayed in more than 15 campsites over the last 12 months and NEVER experienced a campground with very basic/few amenities that is so expensive and on top of that keeps charging you for so many different charges and made up rules. This is the classic TOURIST TRAP with the access to water used as the “bait”. You can go to “Vickie’s” grill nearby and/or launch your boat from the Anclote Park to enjoy the views without the extra charges, surprises and headaches.

Quaint little park on the outskirts of Tarpon Springs. They have paddle boards and kayaks. They have some restaurants that are within walking distance and a new bike trail that just opened.

The waterfront area and beach were perfect for hanging out after work and watching the dolphins and pelicans. Our pup loved the dog park area. The trees in the park were beautiful. The park is conveniently located near a new bike trail and several county parks that we enjoyed. If you’re looking for a resort style park with a ton of amenities, this is not it. But it was a peaceful, laid back, well maintained, awesomely located park for us. Cell phone signal was strong. My husband and I both work remotely and had no issues with AT&T here. Some of the sites were a little tight, but we were perfectly content with ours. We would definitely return to Hickory Point!

We wanted a water site and 202-207 have it. 201 had a very restricted view. The campground is a mix of mobile homes (20), long term and short term rv sites. The sites have ok room between and i liked 114 which was on the outside but was wide enough to be comfortable. It's not any tighter driving into and parking than any other place we have been to. Ups, FedEx and Amazon deliver to your site. There is a large dog run and it was enough for our German shepherd to run. They have a few tent sites and a large park, beach and boat launch. You don't need a permit to fish there either!! Wendy and Paula were great to work with also. We will definitely stay again.

Booked and paid for a water FRONT site, got an obstructed-view water-view site. Extremely disappointed, this Park is obviously managed by crooks.

We’re more used to State Parks pricing, the waterfront sites here were a beautiful view but really expensive. Most sites were small and not very private.
