Thank goodness we didn’t have to spend any time in the park. It’s actually a mobile home park that accepts campers. They had the nerve to ask how old our camper is while they allow old campers that are no longer road worthy to stay permanently. The place is run down and so are the bathrooms. The shower temperature can’t be regulated and the shower heads are fixed. 3 showers, one so hot it’s impossible to use it; one has hardly any water pressure; the third has so much pressure that it hurts. And, since they are on timers, it’s impossible to turn the water off.The latches on the shower doors have so many coats of paint on them that they can’t be locked. Our site was blacktop but it was cracked and heaved up. The ladies that checked us in were very nice. (But,then aren’t they paid to be)?

I had full 50 Amp water and sewer hook up and there are Wifi boosters all around the park. They sell propane, have a large clean pool, places to do laundry and take showers. There are many permanent 55 and older residents living here but all were welcoming to us and allow younger families to stay during tourism season. The park has a standard 10 year and older RV policy but all I had to do was send in photos of my 2000 sportscoach and was quickly approved. We chose this spot because it is directly across the street from Silver Springs state park and we able to walk from one place to the other and enjoy our day. I would definitely stay again if I am in the area.**Management has changed and the park is now called Silver Springs RV Park**
Quiet park, nice pool, across from state park.

This park is very quiet as long as you get a spot at least 2 rows from the main road. Lots of trees for shade dotted around the park. Nice heated pool. Laundry and showers seemed clean though we did not use them. Stores and restaurants are close, 5 to 10 minutes, we rode our pedal bikes to Mojo’s. Silver Springs State Park is right across the road and you can rent canoes and kayaks to go out on the river etc.Free park Wi-Fi but as usual not exactly streaming quality. AT&T and Verizon 4 bars no booster needed. Our first time here and apparently it’s under new management, was told by the long term residents that they have really cleaned it up. Seemed very clean and well maintained.Only downside for some might be that this is not a ‘Resort’, there are a few outdoor games but not much, and they do have things going on in the rec room for time to time, free pancakes and sausage for breakfast on Saturdays for instance. If you need to work or just want a nice quiet place to relax with a lovely river to kayak on across the road then this is for you.Note: apparently this is the old name for the park, it is now called Silver Springs RV Park but Google still sees it as Silver Springs RV Campers Garden
