Electrical and water go out frequently. Several under-55s, several small children here for months - screaming, riding bikes through park with no one watching (owner's grandchildren, come to find out), Loud weekend parties with the owner's obnoxious "karaoke" wafting thru the park over a PA, going late into the evening. "Tiki Bar" hosts owner and his kid's drunken parties with loud music and shouting going sometimes well past 1am (including the grandkids' yelling and screaming!). This is not really set up as a seniors park, but as a personal playground for the owner and his family. I do not recommend; pay a little more and stay somewhere nice and properly run. You really DO get what you pay for.UPDATE 2020: Current manager is - by his admission - changing the park from a seniors park. This is evident by MANY under 55's and often their children (including toddlers and infants). Residents are "treated" to loud rock and roll being played by the manager (half-stack guitar amp) and his buddies (full drum kit, keyboards, etc). Few are in the clubhouse listening; the rest are simply forced to. The one std. dumpster is only emptied twice a week and is often overflowing. The clubhouse in not air-conditioned. If "cheap" is all you care about, go for it. You get what you pay for...maybe.

(see my prior review)Not much has changed since last time. Still no adequate toilet facilities. Most of the old dilapidated permanently parked travel trailers and mobile homes are still here. A few more second hand trailers and used park models have been added, some not habitable. (not an improvement) Permanent residents, there are many, are doing the best they can given their day to day circumstances! The recent hurricanes have damaged some of the old trailers and also the park facilities. The cover on the shuffle board courts is gone. The sewer treatment plant is damaged, but functioning, I assume? What is remaining of the structures is damaged and lying aroundSeveral trees were damaged, the owner is removing them. (a good thing) The owner is making repairs, SLOWLY!!Some cars setting in the park are not licensed and will not run. Some residents have multiple cars that inconvenience other residents. One full time resident has 4 vehicles, a cargo trailer, and a travel trailer squeezed in. Parking is not sufficient! The owner has started a new pavement sealing business that is operating from the trailer park, so the equipment (30' trailer, tank trailer, pickup truck, and other miscellaneous) is setting on some lots. The employees of this business are living in the park full time too.The few long term residents I talked to are unhappy, looking for somewhere to move.Next year, I will not be stopping here.PS:I read the reviews on this park made by others. I have met some of the people that made them, and know they are permanent residents. The daily rate they noted in their review was actually the monthly rate at the time of their review. . The one review that was so positive, must have been the owner, pure BS.The actual daily, monthly, and annual rates are posted at the website. However, the website for the park is deceiving, some of the photos are not from the park.

Though, there are a few 55 to 60. The camping spots are relatively small and the roadways are narrow and have difficult turns for large motor homes. Most have to disconnect their towed vehicles in order to navigate through the park. The camping spots are grass/gravel with an adjacent concrete patio. Most, if not all, of the patios are cracked and broken from being overrun by vehicles trying to enter and leave the sites. Most of the sites are 30 amp, about 20 to 25% are 30/50 amp.The publicly shared facilities are old, though functional, but not very clean. The one set of public toilets, which are in the clubhouse, have only one shower for each gender, which are not sufficient for the quantity of people using them. The toilet rooms are not handicap accessible. The clubhouse is a concrete block building, which has a small kitchen, which is not to be used by individuals. The kitchen is for group functions only. The pool adjacent to the clubhouse is small, adequate for about 20 people, 25 is a crowd! The pool deck is small and does not accommodate the quantity of people that try to use it.Activities at the park are mainly organized by the residents, though the owner and managers do support these activities. There are games, cards, bingo, etc each weekday night. On Saturday evenings the residents have an occasional pot luck/covered dish, movie, dance, or other group gathering. Karaoke is one of the favorite activities (1930’s to 1960’s country music mostly). Golf, bicycling, crafts, shuffleboard, are the main organized activities.Quiet time after 10 pm is not enforced, when the activities at the clubhouse go on into the early morning. Sometimes the owner/manager is the person making the excessive noise.
