This is very helpful as the resort is huge. While the sites are not super wide they are far from being one of the narrower sites I have stayed at before in other RV parks. With a 39 foot 5th wheel and Ram 3500 short bed, there is still plenty of space to drop the patio on the toy hauler. Campfires are allowed in a self contained fire pit with a cover. The park is very quiet at night (we were here over New Years Eve and it was surprisingly quiet). The sound of I-75 can be heard while outside the RV but once inside other than the occasion truck exhaust break I didn't really notice the highway. Note that there is a section of the campground that is much closer to I-75. There are grocery stores 19 miles north and 15 miles south. The area is dotted with horse farms and rolling countryside. Garbage pickup is daily, just place your garbage at the end of your site between 9-11a. Also if you need your propane refilled, leave your propane tank at the end of the site and they will pick it up and return it the same day. The RV park is very clean with a pool, clubhouse, dog park, shuffleboard and other activities. Very dog friendly. People are out and walking all of the time and everyone was very friendly. Wifi was very good although it occasionally would go on the fritz for a few minutes here and there. We are already planning to stay again in the fall just have to see what our schedule is. We stayed for a month at $750+electricity. We have Google-Fi for our cell phone service and had no issues. Husband works remotely and he had no issues with connectivity on the internet.

We stayed here twice. The first time was a great experience. The spots are very close together in most sections of the resort, and we prefer to have much more space, even if it costs more. For our second stay, we intentionally booked a site with much more room (site 400) for 6 days. Upon arrival, the concrete pad at our site was completely under water. We asked if we could get a refund, which was declined even though they could not put us in another spot that we were happy with, and only offered us a credit for a future stay. They did find a different spot for us that we chose to stay at for the first night, and left early the next morning as the new spot was not what we were looking for. We called the office later to let them know, and were told at that point that we could NOT get a credit for the remaining days, although we were told that receiving a credit would be an option. So we ended up paying $375 for one night at a spot that we didn't book and didn't want to stay at.

The sites were very close together but fairly level and concrete pads. The fellow who checked us in was very nice and efficient and the snowbirds around us also very friendly and congenial. Little tricky backing up into our pull thru site but not a problem for my husband.

One weird quirk we noticed was not all sites had a picnic table. Ours was one of those. Here are some notes for data for people interested in staying here and needing connectivity. They have an amazing campground WiFi deployment. I was getting about 15mbs down and 6mbs up. Obviously depending on when people are using it all that can change.I have a Pepwave Max Transit CAT18 modem paired up with a Parsec Husky Pro 7-in-1 4x4 MIMO antenna mounted on our travel trailer. I ran a speedtest from Ookla on my laptop three times per provider while I was deciding which connection to use. I ended up leveraging Speedfusion on my router to bond my best connection with the campground WiFiVerizonLTE Band 66 (AWS 1700/2100 MHz)RSSI: -77dBm SINR: 12.7dB RSRP: -108dBm RSRQ: -10.0dB9.40ms down | 5.03mbs up | 39ms pingAT&TLTE Band 14 (700 MHz)RSSI: -53dBm SINR: 20.7dB RSRP: -81dBm RSRQ: -10.0dB8.51mbs down | 5.53mbs up | 43ms ping

My wife and I are full time RVers and came to Ocala North RV Resort in December 2020 for the winter and decided to stay. The resort is gorgeous and the staff is friendly and helpful. Horses to the North, cows to the south and woods across the street. Fantastic country setting! This is a 5 star resort plus!

Very clean site. Employees are friendly. Noise from the new construction is not loud or disruptive. My wife works from home and had no issues from the construction crew. Level concrete sites. Pool is new. Has pickleball, corn hole, pool table and shuffle board.

We checked in to this RV campground and there were 4 employees in the office. None were wearing masks. They escort you to your campsite and that gentleman was not wearing a mask either. The first campers we saw walked up to us from site 38 ( no masks) and told us the campground was having an outbreak of covid. Their neighbors at site 58 had been sick for over 10 days. I overheard the woman in the site across from us describing her symptoms to another camper ( no mask) and then went to laundry in the public laundry. Bottom line- we did not go there to get sick and the campers with covid were not quarantined or wearing masks. We asked the management why we had not been told and they had no response. We left early with no compensation for the days we had paid for.You should also be aware that they are adding over 200 new campsites. Construction noises and beeping machinery starts at 7:30 am and ends at 6:00 pm. Even on Christmas Eve- there was noise until 3 pm.They have removed so many trees you can hear I-75 traffic 24 hours a day. The pool has been closed for construction for several months.

Very clean and well-maintained park. Easy on/off access from I-75. A lot depends on the site you get. Some have plenty of room with new concrete pads. Others have crumbling and/or uneven pads. Generally, the pull through sites are the narrowest, the back in sites are wider and a bit nicer. I did not find the roads too narrow for navigating at all. There's a small bridge on the south-east corner which I would avoid using. It's OK for cars but a bit narrow and is not necessary to access any of the sites. No open fires permitted, must be in a raised and covered fire pit. Everyone we encountered were friendly and welcoming. Not much to do in the area but we liked it enough to come back and stay for a week or two during our horse show season.

This is a well maintained older park that is experiencing some upgrades. Had 50 amp FHU. Everything worked as it should. Did not investigate bath house or laundry. Nearby small private grocery store. Less than 10 min to bigger chain stores. The park is located a little outside Ocala in horse country with farms and open land surrounding it. (Fresh farm eggs are sold in the office.) While site size can vary, all were adequate and somewhat roomy. Concrete pads (albeit some cracks) and mostly pull through with a grass area between sites. No leveling issues. Parked our jeep behind our RV with plenty of room. The park roads are paved, roomy and slightly rolling...such a nice change from straight lanes with RV after RV after RV. Entire park has lots of tall trees (with low branches removed). Makes for pleasant shade and dappled sunlight. Really loved the general feeling of openness. Woodsy. While here, we biked on the public roads outside the park, which have a bike lane. Open farm land was nice to ride through. While riding, we startled a large flock of wild turkeys which crossed the road in front of us.Have stayed at other parks in Ocala, but not again. This is our favorite and we'll return.

It's far enough away from the interstate to be very quiet, but close enough to be convenient. The entire campground is heavily wooded and feels rustic but clean. Some of the sites are rather close together, but others are larger and have decent spacing. It looks like there are many long-term residents but their lots are clean and attractive unlike some other RV parks. Our site was level, and we had good AT&T and Verizon signal, but the campground WiFi was extremely slow. The campground is large enough that we had plenty of places to walk our dog. There is a fenced dog run but it's tiny and only suitable for the smallest of dogs. We'd return here.
