We love Indian Pass Raw Oyster Bar and the campground was perfect to eat our fill of the best oysters!!! The campground is nice -but you are soo close. Your neighbor’s sewer line is next to your front door. We just moved our chairs to behind the camper to look out at at the sawgrass marsh. The location for kayaking and fishing can’t be beat! So close to Apalachicola and St Joe. Also, we loved the general store and the laid back atmosphere.Like the park- but the sewage next to the front door was a new one for me.
Waters Edge is a nice, quiet RV park that has a great general store on site and is in a great location.

Overall, we liked Water’s Edge and would stay there again. The sites are a little close together but the location and peacefulness make up for it. Each site has a small charcoal grill and there is a public firepit with chairs and cornhole boards. There is a men’s and women’s restroom, each with one toilet, sink and shower on the back side of the General Store for people staying in the campground. There are also laundry facilities on site. The park has wi-fi but it was slow and did not work very well. With regard to reserving a site: if you want a particular site, call to ensure you get the one you want. The online reservation system they use will automatically bump you out of the site you chose and into another if a customer that is going to be staying longer makes a reservation for that same site. We didn’t really have a preference and ended up in a site that we felt was better than our original so we didn’t mind but this could be a problem for folks who request a particular site because of the size of their rig or some other need for a specific site. The manager was very helpful however, some of the other employees that work behind the counter in the General Store didn’t seem to know how to correctly check people in to the campground. The issue was corrected and didn’t cause any more than an inconvenience. If you’re in this part of Florida for fishing or access to the water, the location is ideal. There are several boat ramps to access area waters within a few miles. The location near St Joseph Peninsula State Park and in between Apalachicola and Port St Joe makes accessing all of those locations a breeze.
