So I took site 1. There was a pile of some kind of vinyl siding behind the picnic table, and something covered with a tarp, My view out the window. Then a couple hours later someone pulled in and said he reserved site 1. He took site 2. The owner never showed his face. When leaving and throwing my garbage away, I saw the owner standing by the MH in site. 3. (I guess the MH was his) I waved. he looked up and said a quick hi and looked down. No conversation, no nothing. I left. There is a place a couple streets down looks a lot better.

Very cheap ($30/night) for full-hookups. Good space (25+ feet) between sites with moderate vegetation. Sites are good sized and deep. Owners were friendly and helpful. Nearest town is Perry, with usual small-town shops, restaurants and a Walmart. I work part-time (remote) so this was a nice place to spend five nights. The Gulf is 5miles south and boasts great fishing, excursions, etc. Outside of that, not a lot to do. But if you like nature and want a quiet, peaceful setting you’ll love it here. I would strongly recommend if that is your thing. I would stay again if in the area.

This is a great campground tucked away in the woods and only 1.5 miles from the beach. Very private and has full hookups, the water was very clean too. There’s a little general store you will pass on the way in that has the best meats and sausages. Very nice place to stay and we will be coming back on a regular basis. Already booked????????
Super quiet!!

This was a great place to rewind and disconnect. Close driving to Keaton Beach or even Steinhatchee. Will be going back again real soon.

Seems I'm always on the way to somewhere. So when I noticed this little place pop up on Campendium a while ago I decided to check it out. Turns out Marc and his wife (the owners of the property) are full-time RVers themselves so they have plans in the works to further develop Bonita Palms. There are 4 sites each with FHU and a garbage can. Access is very direct off of Hwy 361/Beach Road - just a short drive on gravel with a few potholes. The short driveway is very wide and straight but turning around could be a challenge. I would recommend, particularly if you have a larger rig, is to disconnect anything you are towing and back-in to your spot. Sites 1-3 angle off and site 4 is straight back. The hookups are spotless new (50 amp only so you'll need a dog bone), the sites level, and the surroundings dense Florida coastal forest. The birds were busy in the morning - nice to wake up to. Marc was great to communicate with always giving quick responses as my dates shifted a bit. The website does a great job of describing the area - heading southwest you get to the water in 3 minutes where the road just ends in the tidal flats with tall marsh grass. There are off-road areas to explore. Continuing on Beach Road takes you to Keaton Beach where there are a few shops, services, boat ramp, park, etc. There's actually a full convenience store and gas station with diesel I believe on Beach Road just before you get to the turn for Bonita Palms. So while it's a bit off the beaten path, there's actually a good a bit around, and this is probably the low season (last week of February). I had no T-Mobile signal though I didn't try my booster. AT&T was fine averaging 25 down and 2 up. I had no problem streaming and getting a little work done.
