Picked up our checkin info and map from old phone booth. We had a pull through site for one night. Very nice level concrete and full hookups. Mostly long term sites so everyone knew to visit with the new folks. We had friendly conversation around the community fire pit and the dog enjoyed the dog run. There was nothing happening at the nearby racetrack when we were there so it was quiet. Too bad we were only passing through and didn’t have time to explore more.

Really nice park, well kept, level and nice sized sites, full hookups. Really helpful in working out an extra night when my next stop reservations were cancelled due to a flooded campground. Only drawback was the nearby race track - it can be quite noisy but never went later than 10:00 pm. Wi-fi not too bad.

  • Super clean, updated & great personality!

I called & the super friendly guy I spoke with said they had just had a cancellation & only had one site left.We arrived after closing to find our materials in the super cute old-fashioned phone booth. Instructions were perfect & we made it to our site, number 14, a pull-thru. We were happy to see we were near the dog park area. The site was brick-paved & even had complimentary leveling pads. This was really the nicest, cleanest site we’ve ever had. Although there were quite a few long term rentals, probably northerners staying until it was warm, it didn’t feel that way at all. Everyone kept their sites impeccable & it was quiet. They are close to Sonny’s bbq, & there is a door with a private access code so you can walk there. The decor is so cute & artistic. The laundry is in a trolley car. We had a very nice stay, even though it was for a very short time.

The sites are well maintained with concrete tracks for park on and patios. WiFi is better than most. The campground has a friendly, easy going feel to it. The manager, Bill, was very helpful with the setup and providing directions to local points of interest.

The Park is located close to the highway and easy to get to everywhere in the area. It is in town near several hotels and businesses. There is no Bathhouse so you must have a working bath in your rv. No tents allowed. The site was level. It is a good spot if you plan on doing a lot of site seeing and not spending tons of time in the rv park. The park is well cared for and they definitely have a lot of fun with their signs! Not a lot for kids.

Each time we stay they are making bigger and better changes to the park, but everything stays welcoming and friendly. All of the sites are full hookup and there is plenty of space between sites - a welcome change from the parks on the west coast. Wireless is super good, good enough for us to do work without having to constantly seek out Starbucks or run up our mifi to crazy amounts. Check in is a breeze even after hours. What else...great laundry setup with two decommissioned beach trolleys, chairs, and a great patio to play chess while you are waiting for your clothes to dry. They had just set up a community compost and were getting their garden set up. Complementary bikes for the park are a plus. Pet run...you name it, they have it.The location is convenient to Pensacola Beach but also to Perdido Key, Orange Beach, and Gulf Shores if you want a change of beach scenery. Downtown Pensacola is 15 minutes away and there's a lot happening down there each week. Definitely 5 star worthy.
