Called the office and told them we left and are parked down the street because there’s no way in hell we could fit in there. They said “OK, we will send maintenance over”. Another 15 mins later I don’t get a call or any response so i head over there with my RV and park in a driveway to walk into the office and straighten this out. So they say “yeah that site is tricky” no it’s impossible. A 30’ foot travel trailer can not make a 90 degree turn. All the other back ins are slanted. Like that’s easy. So no amends are made bc THEY messed up. We ask to stay in another site but they only have it for one night. So we can either move our trailer tomorrow to another site or piss off I guess. So there goes my $59+taxes ($66) because they don’t know their own property. By the way site #39 is an easy back in. Got in first try in 2 minutes.Don’t come here with a big rig. They don’t give a crap about you. If you have a van, motor home, or 20 ft or less trailer by all means you’ll love it.

  • You are here for the beach. There is beach.

Let's be honest - you are here for the beach. Direct beach access, if not pure beach views from your RV.This has all of that with full hookup and usually ok wifi. Easy distance to shops (publix, etx), easy drive to lots of things. Great food around. Sites level? Nope. Lots of sand in everything? Yep. Who cares? Small, tight campground with coarse sand and some grass. The sand (in the campground) has big flakes in it that track everywhere. WiFi was pretty much useless - comes from the hotel part which is too far away. The view is great though, as there are no sand dunes blocking your view of the beach and ocean. WiFi was pretty much useless - comes from the hotel part which is too far away. The view is great though, as there are no sand dunes blocking your view of the beach and ocean. Would have loved to stay in one of the beachfront sites, but our 37' won't fit (max 35'). They have a couple of pull-thru sites next to the road (#30 & 31). Turning left out of the campground can be challenging, as the traffic on A1A is non-stop at times. Fortunately, there is a Publix and a few other stores and restaurants to the right (north), so that helps with daily trips out.

We were so happy to escape the cold Minnesota winter and have this be our first stop in Florida. Being right next to the beach was heaven! Only downside is the bathrooms are very old and had a bad sewer smell to them (coming from shower drain). For $75 per night, would be nice to update shower facilities a bit and fix the sewer smell ...moreWe were so happy to escape the cold Minnesota winter and have this be our first stop in Florida.
