There’s not really anywhere else to stay in the area and this place has mixed reviews. But, it was a solid option! Lots of space between neighbors, lots of green space, lots of amenities… a big win all around. Location is a little too far from Miami, but otherwise we would stay again.

This RV campground was amazing. The spaces are close but very well maintained. The staff assists you to your lot and is extremely helpful. The amenities are great (mini golf, pool, playground, basketball, volleyball). They are all clean and well maintained.

The descriptions of the types of sites are a bit confusing. We didn’t realize our site didn’t come without sewer or we would not have booked it at this price. We stay many places without sewer but not for this premium price out in the middle of farm land. WiFi is an additional charge and you park on grass. Also the site states “ many come with picnic tables and concrete patios”. Non of the ones in the area we were in had a patio. They give you a five page packet when you check in with a long list of “no no’s”. It’s three times as many rules here as any other place we have stayed. For example you can’t use your fire pits but you can rent one from them. A bit off putting upon first impressions. The trouble with having such a long list of rules is you need to Enforce them. This campground picks and chooses when to enforce them. Noise at all hours, junky long term tenants with stuff all over the sites. But you are warned that everything come with a fine when you arrive. The water was shut off during our stay with no notice and the office could not be bothered when inquiring about duration. This feels like an overreaching HOA with bad management. We were testing this property to see if Thousand trails was an option for us. So far that’s a big no.

The park is a little pricey but it’s well maintained and has a great pool, mini golf, and 1 mile walking path. Plus a playground, green space, and games. It is located so you can go into Miami, hit the keys, or go to Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. An airboat tour is highly recommended! Sites are more spacious than some and more cramped than others we have stayed in. Pets are welcome! Family friendly!

We spent one day in Miami, one day in the Everglades and one day in the upper keys. Neighbors were great, lots of friendly faces. The pool was wonderful! Very much a resort style experience. However, the office staff was super rude and stand-offish. If you want to do laundry, be sure to note that you must “rent” a card for $5 and you may only add money in $5 increments....and you don’t receive back any change if you don’t use it all. Also, you will only receive your $5 card rental fee back via CC, regardless of how you paid for it. So, we not only lost the $1 and some change that was left on the card, but we also won’t receive our $5 back for 7-10 business days via our credit card. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but when you are paying in coveted quarters and you still have laundry to wash further on down the road, it is a big deal. Also, sites are tight with oddly placed hook ups. Overall, I will give this campground four starts ONLY because the place was nicely kept and the pool was epic. And we had great neighbors. (Price reflects Thousand Trails/Encore membership pricing.)

Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Site 79 was level but took a little work getting into since it had trees and tree branches but nothing too tricky if you pay attention. The roads are very narrow and many cars/trucks are forced to partially park in the road making it even tougher to maneuver as you get in and out of the park. The amenities are amazing at this resort and that's why it deserves the "resort" label. The pool is enormous. The mini golf is better than many professional mini golf courses. And there are plenty of courts, playground and other play areas. The dumpsters quickly filled up and were actually overflowing with people leaving trash bags next to the dumpster. And the area around the dumpster smelled like sewage. They just completed a new Amazon locker style mailbox system. Looks pretty slick although we didn't use it.The row we stayed on had a number of full-time residents. The rigs were pretty dated but the people were very friendly. We stopped and spoke with many of our neighbors. The roads in and out of the RV park are kinda small off the main highway with some overhanging trees, but the roads aren't super busy so it wasn't a problem navigating.

Looks like these are mainly tent sites, but they put us here and we were grateful! You're surrounded by trees, it's private, and waaaaay more spacious than the main RV park. Be warned that it is pretty unlevel due to all the tree roots. Water pressure and electric hookups were fine. While the other area was packed and cramped, we enjoyed peace and nature. We didn't use any of the amenities so can't report in that. This park was our launching point into the Keys. Cheaper than most of what we found in the Keys, but it's a bit of a hike from here. 2 1/2 hours to our destination at Bahia Honda SP.

My site was grass with a concrete patio. Saw only 2 bath houses/toilets but they were clean fairly updated and close enough. The pool is very nice. The whole CG is pretty level with mostly paved roads. There is a multi use path that is also paved. Staff was friendly as well. One section has many more trees than the section I was in as I asked for a site with a view of the southern sky for satellite (which was able to get). My site was nice and wide so was able to park the tow car next to my RV. All three carriers I had with me for cell service were only 3 bars but service was screaming at 50+mbps down and 20+ up.

The park is in a nice safe area in a beautiful (think palm tree farms and citrus orchards) and quiet agricultural area. It is also a peaceful place to stay while visiting Miami. The sites are ok, some are tight with trees, but it is well shaded. There are many seasonal campers here. The pool is beautiful with an old-Miami retro feel. Super cute. Grocery stores are five minutes away. It is an Encore park, so Encore/TT discounts can apply. This rate reflects our discount of 20% off, as we hold a Thousand Trails zone pass membership. We would stay here again when crossing across from Naples and visiting the Everglades again.
