Most looked like us, delayed travel and needed a place for the night. Abandoned Mobile homes along one road. Bathrooms were adequate for a quick shower in the morning before getting back on the road. Probably was a great place when it was built almost 70 years ago and everything still seems original, standing or fallen down and left. People on the site next door had a Chow-mix that was chained, (illegal in Florida) and spent the night under their picnic table. Class C across the street that looked derelict but had occupants. Didn’t see anyone outside of their rig except going and coming. Great view of the stars at night. Just a little bit on the creepy side for what they charge, but we had to get off the road because of a 3 hour delay leaving and didn’t want to disturb anyone coming in late at our destination. Hopefully we won’t have to repeat. Same owners as a much nicer and more expensive family campground a mile up the road. Our picnic table was in a pile by the road waiting to be hauled away. Nails and all! ????????‍♂️

Walmart is 100% better than this place

After a 10 hour day on the road, this was an easy stop off I-10. The campground is some grass fields with 50A, FHU. Some rundown campers around. Nothing great, but more than adequate for an overnight. Price a little much for what it is.

  • Good for one night.

Winter time and pretty cold. Looks like RV part is secondary to motel they run although no one was staying there either. No baths or laundry we could find. In the main building there was a toilet sitting by door that might have been bathroom but I didn’t venture inside. There are a few empty and run down mobile homes that are spooky looking. There is a pool that might be nice in warmer weather. Trash in piles around the place. Lots were level dirt/sand with trees In between so hard to get satellite signal. WiFi was ok. No cable.
