Fantastic resort with lots for all to do, kids ages 14,11,10 and they didn’t want to leave. We stayed in the “new” RV section and I was not thrilled with our interior pull thru spot, I would recommend and exterior back in site. Because it is new, there is very little shade and it was blinding in the mornings. The shady spots are beautiful. The older section has some sites with gorgeous views of the lake. The water park was awesome. I can’t believe how “inexpensive” it is for all it has to offer. My kids did the water park, putt putt, and ropes course ALL DAY. Then there was a movie in the outdoor view area that evening. So fun. The lake has kayaks for use and nice shaded beach chairs. Also indoor basket ball. So much to keep the kids busy. I’d highly recommend reserving a golf cart or bring your own. The lake and pools aren't really in walking distance (for some????) and parking is tough on the lake area. We didn’t reserve one but the owners put us on the waiting list. All in all, it was a fun weekend getaway. Very clean and well Kept.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! There are several campsites that have a beautiful view of Weiss Lake. Highly recommend getting one of those sites if possible. The campsite was very clean and very quiet but I think we were technically there in the off-season. They have great amenities for kids including a small nearby putt putt course and ropes courses. You also have access to the pools and amenities at the Chestnut Bay Resort which is directly across the street and easily accessed through an underground tunnel. They’re also building a small waterpark within walking distance of the campsite. We also thoroughly enjoyed Cherokee Rock Village which is about a 20 minute drive. Great place for hiking and rock-climbing. The only negative is that we had some bees that kept coming around so may want to bring something to deter them.
