When you pull in there are houses up front, pull past all of them until you reach the water, look to the right and you will see the Marina, check in is there. It’s all very casual! No website, call for reservations, they take your dates, name and number as that’s it! Lots of full timers. Campsite was beautiful, lake view and huge trees. There is a slip and slide type slide into a pond in front of the lake making for some safe swimming. Someone is feeding the squirrels because they will come right up looking for a handout. Bathroom was clean. Two stalls and one shower per restroom. Full hook ups 30/50 amp power. Lots of traffic at the boat ramp. Loved watching the boats unload into the lake. Will definitely stay again.

At the end of a long gravel road you will find this little gem of a campground! Surrounded by cattle fields, and overlooking a gorgeous lake that is home to so many birds, this is a place to unplug and unwind! Campsites are nicely sized and reasonably well spaced out. Some campsites include concrete patios, some are on gravel and some are simply grass. The sites have full hookups. There is a small simple bathhouse and a good size laundry room with well maintained machines. Cell and data service was iffy. The lake is the centerpiece of this campground! It is absolutely beautiful. Sit on the banks and watch and listen to the many species of birds, and if you are very lucky you might catch a glimpse of 2 alligators who call this side of the lake home.
