When we called to reserve, the lady said they could not take a credit card for reservation and that I would have to mail her $50 to reserve the spot. I never liked mailing money so, since we have family in the Kissimmee area, my brother in law took the money. He took the money out of an ATM and of course it only gives the money in $20 bills. So he took $60 to her and asked for the $10 change, the lady told him that she had already closed the office so she didn't have a way to give him change. Then she went on to write $50 received on the receipt. My brother in law asked about why only $50 was on the receipt and she told him to not worry about it that she would give us the full $60 credit once we got there. That, I understand was a mistake on our part since we should have made sure the receipt said $60. On our way there I called (as I always do) and told the lady that we would be there around 5:00 pm. Her reply was "you all need to hurry because I close the gate at 6:00 pm and leave."So we got there at 5:00 pm, went through the check-in process and she "forgot" to deduct the deposit until I asked her about it. I reminded her about her conversation with my brother in law and she said "the receipt says $50 so that's how much he gave me". I said ok, since again it was our fault for not asking her to write the correct amount on the receipt when it was paid.We proceeded to go to the spot and it was super muddy, black mud! She said that it had been raining and that's why it was muddy. It always rains in Florida, so what she really meant is our spots don't have a efficient way to move water out of them. It was so muddy we had to park on the cement spot that the picnic table was supposed to be. Oh and for those that care the "park wifi" only works on the office porch.Needles to say we won't stay there again.

Nice people, most we met have mobile homes and are here 6 mos . Pool was just redone and completed Feb 2019. Nice but mostly shady in the afternoon but that was relaxing. Our campsite is in the blazing sun but has a concrete pad and thats good as when theres alot of rain that’s desirable.
