There were 6 RVs traveling together and this was the worst of our 6 week trip to Florida. We had made reservations 6 months earlier, but when we got there 3 of the group had been moved to different sites from what they reserved. One of our group could not even get their slides out due to the sites being so tight. Another got to the campground only to find someone else in the site they were booked for. It took about 1 ½ hours for all of us to get checked in to our sites. Staff was not the least bit apologetic. Simply said if you don’t like it you can leave! Wish we also had known this campground is really a community of mostly permanent sites with about 90% of residents being Latino. As the literature they gave us after we got there said we would see lots of the Latino culture. This meant LOUD music playing until midnight on the weekends, using microphones and loud speakers. And this was from the site right beside us! Also had problems using the laundry. Three of the six washers had out of order signs on them and the one I chose to use also would not work after I had put money in. When reported to staff it did not work, was told ,”oh, I meant to put a sign on that one, too!” WiFi and TV was nonexistent from our site. We even put down a $250 deposit to get box for cable and it still did not work. Needless to say, will never go back here!
The security ladies were extremely rude. Loud latin music until 5am.

The site was dirty and had shrimp tails and maggots all over the place. It also flooded when it rained. The "neighbors played loud booming Latin music until 5 am. Cars were coming in and out and park everywhere. Weekdays were quieter but weekends were very loud. The security guards were extremely rude all week. The neighbor's dog used our site for defecating. I have 2 dogs and we clean up after them, but not everyone does. All in all we will not stay there again.

Cool cultural shift from this middle income Texan that drug their pop up 23 hours to camp. Clean & cool bathrooms with amazing view from our spot. Cons: some loud neighbors that loved to rock out to their Latin groove & punctuated with some loud conversation or fighting around 1am. If you plan to go to Key West, leave early. We left early (7am) and had no problems for the 2 hour commute. We left at noon on a rainy day headed to Key West, Kill me now. It took 2 hours to get to Robbie’s 36 minutes away. Mostly because of the douche canoes that think their time is more important so they keep bailing Hwy 1 for Old Hwy to create choke points once they rejoined the rest of the decent humans to cross the next bridge. The water further south crazy beautiful turquoise.

Nice canal-side site. Cute little beach with hammocks. Stiff security. Sketchy WiFi. Friendly.
