We did not use them because we use the one in our motorhome but we still had to look at it. We loved it so much we booked a couple more nights after the Florida Keyes so we could stay here again. Check in was great they guide you right to your site and ask if you need any help with anything.

Mike and Polly were very helpful on the phone, which made me feel at ease. Upon arrival Bernie escorted us to our campsite and even helped us back in. The park is still in renovations and you can see where they spent their money. Which is quite nice for a rv park. Bath houses are cleaned daily. Rec room is newly renovated. Mike has plans for a camp store and possibly bait. Firewood and farm fresh eggs can be delivered just by calling the office. They have canoe, kayaks and a paddle boat for guest to use.

I was looking for a place to hang out for a month in this general vicinity and this seemed to fit - right on the Withlacoochee River for paddling (kayak and SUP) and about 20 minutes or so from the Crook Tract with MTB trails. This park was purchased a couple of years ago by Mike and turned around from what was likely a fairly run-down full-timer camp to something a bit more upscale. The park is nicely signed, with several newer buildings, laundry, fire pit area with seating in front of the office overlooking the river. Pads are packed sand and gravel, firm but still sort of soft, mostly level with nice sized concrete patio. Lots of tall trees for shade but still many sunny spots. Careful aiming required for satellite. Hookups are pretty basic but fine - only one outlet, either a 30 or 50 amp plug, not both, and no breaker, sewer access at ground level, and good water pressure. There is nothing around here so it is super quiet. So far AT&T seems to be the best option with a MIMO antenna averaging 20-30 down and 1-4 up depending on the time of day. Floral City is cute but has minimal services. A 20-30 minute drive to either Bushnell / Inverness or a bit further to Brooksville for anything approaching larger stores. This is definitely a nice hangout spot for a private smaller park in a natural setting right on a lovely river. The rate reflects monthly 30 amp spot - electric is additional. The camp has basic satellite WiFi so it's just for basic browsing.
