We had an amazing stay at Geronimo RV Resort.I mean, it’s not a resort, but we knew it. Everything was super clean and organized, and it’s close to the beach. We had a great time. The wi-fi was amazing!

  • Excellent resort and can’t wait to come back!

It is quiet and peaceful with little traffic noise. Our fellow rvers were very friendly and since this is a smaller park, easy to get to know your neighbors. Manager was very helpful and went out of his way to help us with a cable issue created by another RV resort. Laundry was clean and machines are in good shape. Sites are spacious enough for privacy and there is plenty of parking. Big field area for walking the dog. We paid for a week at a time. Located not too far away from a large outlet mall, grocery stores and restaurants. We wouldn’t typically bring up a church but if you are here on a Sunday, be sure to go to the service at the church next door. For those of us who aren’t very religious, it was a breath of fresh air and the music was terrific!

  • Great RV park for a beach trip!

While you don’t get all the amenities other RV parks in the area have available (pool, water slide, beach front access), to me this park makes up for it by being smaller and quieter. There are only about 30 sites on the property and most all of them have level concrete pads with plenty of green grass around them. The sites are spaced out just enough where you don’t feel cramped. There’s trees at the sites offering a bit of shade from the hot sun. It stays pretty quiet and doesn’t turn into party central after dark which is what I was worried about booking at Camp Gulf. Overall the park is very clean and well maintained. The beach is about a half a mile walk from the park which is a tad far for some, but we ended up parking in the gravel strip next to the Surf Hut and slipping in the private access gates there (shhh don’t tell!). WiFi is super fast 5ghz. Staff is very friendly and live on site if you have issue. Laundry is coin operated, so bring quarters. If you’re coming for the beach and don’t have a washer and dryer in your rig I’m sure you’ll need them for bathing suits and towels at least once. Overall very pleased with the resort. Plus I was able to book extremely short notice and during our stay it looks like they had several spots available at various times. Good alternative if you don’t want the high price and close quarters of Camp Gulf.

  • Concrete is good in the rain!

I was so thankful to be on clean concrete rather than in the mud. It's a small park without all the frills as some of the other Destin parks, but it is extremely clean and well run by some wonderful people. The park fills up with snow birds as it has more reasonable rates for the area. Thankfully there was a cancellation and we were able to snag a last minute spot in one of their pull throughs near the front. Laundry room and restrooms, but that is it for amenities. It's in walking distance to the beach and you can hop on the bike trail and cruise for miles and miles. I feel this is a high price for what you get, but I guess that is the nature of Destin. When pulling an RV it is easier to come in off of Emerald Coast Highway to Geronimo, rather than Why 98 to Geronimo...which is narrow and curvy with a tight turn.
