Nice place. This is a busy park. Owners are super kind. Laundry room is clean, but a tad pricey. Pet friendly although we rarely visited the dog park because it has very little grass.Roads are great for walking. Shuffle boardPickle ballLibraryBilliardsShowers very nice and clean

As a first time full time RV’er I could not have picked a better place to spend the winter. Tim and Anna are great hosts, the pull though site was fine, really nice to have a golf driving range on the property. The facilities are super nice and the pricing just can’t be beat. I fully expect to return next fall for another stay.
Lots of nearby things to do

All sites are very level, its almost split 50/50 half the sites are paved, half are grass/sand. Water pressure was 32 Lbs at their faucet (I carry a gauge to measure first), mostly adults and quiet, no trees or bushes in RV park. Paved area is fairly narrow so plan on putting a carpet over the sand area if you want to sit out. Grass is "thin" so you will drag a lot of sand indoors if you're not careful. Nice clean laundry room with many washers and dryers but usually pretty busy. The washers and dryers cost $3 /load each when I was there, quarters only. There's a lot to see around Chiefland. Many springs, nearby beaches with a one hour drive, state forests with trails, coastal villages, boat access, etc. There is a paved walking/bike trail very nearby (that goes to Fanning Springs) and is around 30 miles long. Walmart, Winn-Dixie or Save-a-lot groceries are only 5 minutes away. No propane at CG but is available very nearby. We stayed for 2 weeks but were told if we wanted to stay for the whole month it's already paid since the price is the same but we have to pay for electric. This probably why there were a lot of campers here for a month or two long commitment, there also a fair amount of overnight or short term also. There is no pool here (yet?) even though the layout shows a pool. You can hear truck traffic from nearby 19 and other roads. There was some roadwork or construction next to park while we were there.
We enjoyed it and plan to return in the future.

The laundry room is nice, they added more machines because of the high demand. They are continuing to improve the outdoor amenities. Adding shade pavilions at the end of the shuffleboards. The town of Chiefland has many places to eat out and is not far from other small towns that have good restaurants. A variety of stores is available also. Several places are close by for outdoor activities. We spent several days at Manatee Springs walking the boardwalk out to the river watching the wildlife as we went. Fanning Springs was nice and we happen to see Manatee in the spring the day we visited. Took a couple of trips to Cedar Key, did the cemetery boardwalk, and the train trestle walking path as well as the pier in town. Several places to see and enjoy the Suwannee River. Also spent time in nearby Crystal River and Homosassa.
Absolutely wonderful!

Very nice paved spot. The owners were gracious and kind. The grandchildren enjoyed playing on the lawn area...a plus after several days in an RV. We will definitely stop again when we go through the area!
Lots of places to see

A row is next to laundry and showers. Closest spots are 10 and higher. Already large resort with new sites under construction. Does have dog park. No discounts of any type offered.
Convenient to Cedar Key, Crystal River, Homosassa, and the Suwannee River.

Paved interior roads and sites with decent spacing between sites. Our site was long enough for the MH and toad and pretty level. It would be nice if the sites were a little wider to allow for patio space. At this time, there are no trees or landscaping so there is no shade. Due to COVID, there were plenty of empty sites and we were allowed to pick ours. Ended up being near a well traveled dusty road that dusted us up too. Wish they had mentioned this as we would have picked a different site. The WII FI was not so good. There is no cable but Directv satellite worked fine. They have a very nice pavillion with grills, shuffleboard, cornhole and picnic tables (none at sites). The laundry room has quite a few washers and dryers and is very cutely decorated. The only downside is there is no AC. The bathrooms are all individual. They are nicely sized and kept clean. There was some road noise but it was fairly quiet at night. Convenient to Cedar Key, Crystal River, Homosassa, and the Suwannee River. We would return if in the area.
