This park is so well kept with each little campsite area having a street name with cute signs. Full hook ups and basic cable was update, you will need a sewer ring since that hook up is recessed. I love to do laundry and their laundry room was very convenient and out door with space to fold and was very reasonable price. Very dog friendly with a dog park and sanitary stations located many places through the park for walks when you forget your bags! They offer activities and have daily trash pick up. There is a nice store with fuel just next to the park. About 7 miles out of Cedar Key, but it is the most luxurious park in the area. We hope to be back!

This is a small sleepy village that has 5 or so restaurants for the tourists and the locals. This RV park is 7 miles east of down town Cedar Key. There are two RV resorts This one and one across the street. There is a gas station at the entrance of the park, gas is expensive with a store for canned goods and liquor, wine or beer. The one across the street looks like it has perminit residents and is not as nice as this one. There is nothing between here and Gainesville to do. This park is on HWY 24. Chiefland is a good 25-35 mins away to do any shopping. We loved Gainesville and it has so many options from grocery stores, to all kinds of resturants. Really nice area. This RV resort has 99 rv slots but 49 of them are owned. Make your reservation early because there are lot of Snow Birds that come down here. There is the good the bad and the ugly at this park. After arriving and setting up we realized that the sewer hookup requires two connectors in order for the elbow to flow, very deep. A really nice gentlemen who got assistance the night before gave us the parts to fix our sewer line the next day. They advertise cable and WiFi. This RV park should take that off the advertisement as the WiFi is very weak and if too many people are streaming Netflix you will have no WiFi. Very early in the morning or very late at night. We had to use our own to get any WiFi. the cable has 10 channels and all the channels are snowey. After talking to many campers this is standard for the park. Bring your own Dish network or Direct TV. The bug infestation was horrible this time of year. Due the rain last year the NO Seeums and mosquitoes were out and extremely uncomfortable. We tried the candles and the fan, but we were out numbered. We were told by the front office to buy a tent if we want to use the patio outside. Really? There is garbage pickup until 11 am. This RV resort is up for sale and the current owners are not wanting to invest in the little things that would make the park better.

Many of the sites can handle larger RVs, the reason we initially chose the resort was their site size (larger than what you can typically find otherwise in Florida). Downtown Cedar Key and the general area is interesting, it has some restaurants and things to do, otherwise the location is a little remote (i.e., if you want a good grocery store (in my opinion) you need to travel an hour, there are options closer but they are limited); however there are some great local places to purchase clams and oysters. This resort is quiet and prettier than many other commercial campgrounds/resorts we have stayed at in Florida. The resort also has many very nice regulars (some who own lots here), who seasonally stay at the resort.

We had to get out of Alabama and south into Florida to avoid Nate’s effects. We decided on Cedar Key as a good location. Thankfully, this beautiful RV Park is built up and the sporadic rains that did come and flood parts of Cedar Key did not affect our park. Nice and quiet. We were there in early Oct. 2017.We were on the mainland just a few miles from Cedar Key and visiting there was wonderful! What a hidden treasure on the Nature Coast! Cedar Key is charming and we’ll definitely be back! The Cedar Key RV Resort is beautiful and very well run. The sites are roomy with concrete pads and picnic tables. 50amp service, water and sewer at each site. They have cable TV and WiFi, but, we have DirectTV and our own WiFi and didn’t use the parks.A delightful surprise in an area we’d not yet explored! 5 stars!

We had problems with our cable and the friendly owner came out in the rain to determine our problem - then loaned us a cable for the remainder of our stay to fix the problem. The public restrooms are clean and spacious. Laundry facilities are fine. The clubhouse is beautiful and spacious. The grounds are well maintained and pretty. It's very quiet, but it's not that busy here now. There was a discount of 50% for the first night only for a PA membership in May. Four stars with ATT and very sufficient WIFI. Good value for the money! In short, what else can one expect? As to local attractions, we had a wonderful time kayaking at Cedar Key Paddling and took a great drive around the Lower Suwanee National Wildlife Refuge. Ate at the Big Deck - good!

Love this park they have a fenced in dog run so you can take your canines off leash and throw a ball for them. Very clean (heated in winter) bath house. Friendly people, nice sites w/ tables, full hook up good wi-fi signal w/ repeaters throughout park, washers/dryers, pool. Great experience both times . Don't forget to get some Tony's famous clam chowder while you are in the area. Lots of acorns and pine cones falling that time of year be sure to clean off your slides before you bring them in if you don't have slider awnings! We had T-Mobile cell service w/ no issues solid 4 bars

Park is pretty new and has sites for sale and rent. The check in process was smooth and easy and the managers were friendly and on top of things. We didn't use the amenities except the wi-fi which worked well and cable TV which had limited channels except in the clubhouse. There was plenty of room to park our 45' class A and tow, plenty of room between and behind the sites and some were shaded. Roads sites and patios all hard surface. Many of the other campers were over-wintering at the park and we found them to be friendly. It is about 10 minutes to Cedar Key and 30 minutes to Chiefland - the main town in the area. We would definitely stay there again.
