This park is a good option for visiting the Cedar Key area. They accept Passport America and Good Sam to help keep the cost down. The office staff was friendly and helpful. This is an older park and could use a little TLC. We were on site 32 which was a corner site with a concrete pad, a new picnic table, WES, and cable. The OTA system that feeds the cable distribution system worked very well!. The WIFI was a little marginal but usable most of the time. (free to use). There is a very small grocery store in town and is limited. The closest area to shopping is Chiefland so plan accordingly. The town of Cedar Key was well worth the visit. Good restaurants and shops.

The campground is laid out very nicely, a new section where I am parked is very quiet and very peaceful. There are events here, potluck dinners etc. and is only around 8 miles to the beautiful little town of Cedar Key,FL. Paul the owner is super nice and very helpful if needed as are the staff that work here. They offer free WiFi and cable TV which is a great amenity. I'm staying for a while and if ever in the area again I would definitely stay here again and also highly recommend this park to others.

With the other campgrounds ranging from 47.00 to over 60.00 per night this was a cost effective choice for the area.Anglers is an older property in need of some updating and maintenance. The owner was super friendly and helpful. He gave us the Passport America discount even though we aren't members. He mentioned the park may soon be under new management so maybe some improvement is on the way. There were lots of park models, permanent RVs and seasonals in storage mode. Lots of clutter, sheds, decks in various stages of repair. Sites were ok, fairly tightly spaced. Luckily we didn't have anyone next door to us. Dirt interior roads and grass or gravel sites.Bathrooms and showers were in good condition and clean. Free wifi that worked surprisingly well and free "cable" TV. Easy access to Cedar Key, about 15 minutes into town.
