We were desperate for a campsite for Memorial Day weekend. Found this available. They book sites online and I was unnerved a bit when I called the campground the next day to confirm but they didn’t know for sure. Also, I asked for a site assignment since we were arriving during a storm and wanted to go direct to the site. They said sites are assigned on arrival. They also couldn’t guarantee a pull through. As it turns out, the campground consists of about 10 back in sites and 20 pull through type sites that are 90’ long. They pull in the first camper on the site and back in the second camper until the row is full. It all worked out fine. The sites are gravel and the owner is very sensitive to driving or walking dogs on the grassy areas. They have a specific area for dogs next to the Highway. No fenced in area, but there was plenty of space for them to do their business. For Memorial Day they organized hot dogs with campers bringing a dish to pass. 30/50 amp sites had plenty of power. Not a lot of room between sites. There is a laundry and cable at the campground, but not a lot of amenities. No wifi and limited cell reception. Located about 70 miles north of St Louis good day trip and 20 miles south of Hannibal the home of Mark Twain.
