We will share a short review here, but if you want more details of our experience, we have a detailed review at our website RVLove.com (link below)We visited this resort for 5 days right after the Tampa RV show in January 2022, then came back at the end of the month for another stay. We were amazed at how this relatively new park did so many things so well. The resort layout was amazing, the amenities and staff were superb, it has something for everyone, and impressive attention to detail.Being so new, it still had some construction going on during our visit in January 2022, but we were very forgiving of it because we appreciated the vision, and everything that was already completed was at such a high standard. We have stayed at many luxury motor coach resorts, but this was superior in many ways AND it is open to all types of RVs. It is not exclusionary. Also.. though not inexpensive at $80-$200+ per night depending on your site, we actually feel it is very good value. There are tons of $80+/night Rv parks and resorts that leave a lot to be desired. But this resort has such incredible amenities and experiences for that price it doesn't feel overpriced to us at all. RV sites are a mix of paver stones, artificial turf, crushed seashells, and beautiful high end landscaping. Sites are very spacious, and the resort is extremely easy to maneuver even with the biggest RVs. Premium sites add tiki huts, hammocks, and outdoor entertainment and cooking areas. There were three dog parks, including one with artificial turf and water features. The pool area is excellent, and the main hub has a tiki bar, stage, play areas, mini golf, and community fire pits. The surrounding area, about half way between Orlando and Tampa, doesn't seem like a super desirable area at first, but there is actually quite a bit to do and see around it. That said, other than going for bike rides on the nearby trails, we mostly stayed in the resort because we simply loved it there. If you are looking for total peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Sites near the center hub will hear music playing most of the day and evening. Sites far away from the center might have some road noise from the nearby road. But if you are looking for a fun destination resort to feel like you are on an island vacation while in your RV, it is hard to beat this resort. Oh, and if you or friends of yours don't have an RV, Camp Margaritaville in Auburndale also has about 100 cabanas they could stay in.Again, we have much more detail and photos in our dedicated blog post review on our website if you want to learn more. Oh... and when we told them we loved our stay so much, they offered us a coupon code to share with our audience. Code RVLOVE will save you 10%.Here is a link to learn more about our experience.https://rvlove.com/camp-margaritaville-auburndale-flThank you,Marc and Julie

The park will be beautiful in a few years when the plants begin to mature. Still it’s a bit pricey for where it is. No deals for long term either. However, if you pick you’re spot well and don’t mind paying more than a mortgage for a monthly spot, the park is basically empty during the week and non-holiday weekends. Park does go wild on holiday weekends with very few spots if any available. Nice pool and even nicer staff.

We were in pull through site with a cabana/tiki hut covered picnic table. The park was at 100% occupancy, but the pools weren't uncomfortably crowded. The drink prices at the poolside bar were fair. The highlight for us were the different food trucks each night. We had a great wifi signal from the free wifi. However, we heard from others in the 160's site numbers that wifi in that area was unreliable. An employee told us the wifi was poor in the area surrounding the main pool as well. I have a Pepwave Max Duo router and a Parsec Husky antenna. The Verizon signal was great with 34.12 Mbps and 5.5 Mbps upload speeds.

The sites are massive and very well kept. We had a spacious pull-thru and it was a great size. The park offers so many activities for kids and adults every day. They have food trucks and live music as well. We absolutely loved the pool, especially the water slide! They also have very clean dog parks and a clean kids playground as well. They have mini golf that’s free and so much fun! Full bar all day everyday was great and they have fire pits for night time. We didn’t get to use the splash pad but it looked clean as well. Laundry was nice and tidy and they had a coin machine. Wifi was strong and worked perfectly, all hookups worked great, and we were able to run both air conditioners at once. Overall, one of the best experiences we’ve had camping anywhere in the country.

They had loud music at night and even played it during the day a few times including starting before 9 am on a Friday. The constant construction noise was really bad and for the price we paid it was ridiculous. We paid for a premium site because that was our only option when we booked and unfortunately those sites are closer to the tiki bar. I think if we knew it was rebranding to a Margaritaville then we probably wouldn't have booked here knowing it would attract a party crowd. They definitely have some nice amenities, but as full timers this isn't our kind of place. The wifi was average at best at it kept disconnecting.
