I managed to get a last minute reservation here during Memorial Day weekend. Its expensive, but comparable in price to the others I researched. This spot is across from the pool and music pa...moreI managed to get a last minute reservation here during Memorial Day weekend. Its expensive, but comparable in price to the others I researched. I had originally booked a site meant for pop-ups (because everything was booked) and I was moved to their "mistake spot" for just $7 more a night. This spot is across from the pool and music pavilion, where I was treated to 3 hours of karaoke the first night. I laughed at two young boys singing DJ Snake's "Turn down for what" and heard the ABCs twice. There is a playground and basketball court here too...this place would have been fun when I was a kid.As a previous reviewer said, the sites are cramped. There are many permanently-parked trailers here as well, and park models/manufactured homes. I was excited to see that all the washers and dryers worked in the laundry facility. The staff seemed friendly...giving me directions to the beach that allows dogs. They also helped me back-in to my site, as my backing skills are still developing and I'm solo. There are lots of businesses and traffic on the main road nearby...to the point where I would call it over-developed. One perk about this park is that it has a bus-stop for those people who don't have a toad or tow vehicle, or deal with finding parking down at the beach.

This is one of those campgrounds where they try to pack as many campers as possible. The campground is near some very desirable beaches so it seems that it is primarily a seasonal campground. The sites are so cramped together, they have an excessive number of rules and the staff was downright unhelpful and unfriendly.
