Nice view of the lake between the premium spots. Heated pool that was still available and safe feeling walks around the park. Most of the spots are easy to get into and out of. A tree kept me from pulling straight in, but back into the spot wasn't a problem. The outer circle is paved and the inner roads are gravel. Verizon is great here but ATT is not so good. I got 5 up and 2 down with ATT on the Mimo. May try a booster if it gets to bad. Verizon was great.
Very pleased!

Site is large with gravel for the RV and grass, very well maintained, the seasonal sites are very very neat, and this site is on the pond. The main road is paved and secondary paths are gravel. WiFi at the time of our visit was problematic due to their provider. LTE: ATT 2 and Verizon 5. Cable TV is crystal clear.
Loved it.

This is a very well managed and maintained campground. The sites are large and there is plenty of space so you’re not stacked in like so many other campgrounds. It would be easier to just list the negatives and be done with it but I can’t think of any. Go,stay, enjoy. I gave four stars for the noise only because you do get the occasional road noise but not enough to be a nuisance.
Full hook-ups, clean, bright

We originally booked our 2 nights at Wolf’s Den but left immediately after seeing the place. We drove to nearby Gillette Castle State Park and (thanks to Campendium!) browsed nearby RV parks. This park was close and had what we needed, so we took a chance. Whew! It felt like luxury when we checked in. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and bright sunshine to recharge ourselves after days in the woods. Our site (#44) was backed up on their small pond, so our view was quite lovely and when we were indoors it felt like we were in a much more remote spot than we really were. I highly recommend getting a back-in site on the water.
East coast prices but lovely RV park

It’s very easy to navigate with good roads into the park off the highway and big rig friendly inside of the park. The bathrooms are very clean. I didn’t use the showers. 50 amp strong power, good cable channels and fairly usable WiFi although it did cut in and out on occasion. There have a nice laundry room here and some activities like a pool and game room. This isn’t full of kid activities so if you’re looking for a kid park this isn’t it. It’s very quiet and ralaxing. The staff was friendly on check in as were the other campers. Cell data speeds are excellent with both Verizon and ATT at 40 d/l. There’s tons of things to do in the area. Mystic is a great town to shop and dine in and there are state parks with hiking nearby. Gillette castle is also cool. Everything you could need is easily accessible.
