Only 2 toilets and 2 showers for the 87 campsites was inadequate. Clean but aged and overused. Staff was excellent, very helpful and courteous. Wifi was free and very ample. Easy internet access. Campsites were extremely small with no privacy. Most campgrounds in this area seem to pack campers in like sardines. Customers were mostly from Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas on long term stays to escape the southern summer heat. We had full hookups which were fine. We will try to find something else next time. this will work for the essentials but definitely not my idea of a "relaxing resort" Creede area and Hiway 149 north was awesome with views and character. Cell service was voice only Sprint and ATT 2 bars.

  • Clean, wide sites. Friendly staff, nice shade on some sites

We stayed the Labor Day weekend. They were mostly full, mostly of long-term RV'ers. There is a fire pit near the sites in the upper area in the back, don't stay there if you don't want the smell of smoke in your rig. The view from almost all sites i nice, sunrise and sunset you can see, good view of the surrounding mountains.
