Rv Park was about half full in late June. Bad part about this park. They park RV units tail to tail, about 18” apart.(barely enough to walk) This means if you enjoy a patio or toy hauler view from your garage it’s not possible. You can’t load or unload your OHV without pulling out of your spot. Seems unreasonable for $66.00 a night. ...moreRv Park was about half full in late June. Bad part about this park. It was not near full capacity which explains why we able to book a site at the very last minute. Owner sited us on the last row facing the San Juan Mountain range. Close to the DSNGR station where historic railroad cars can be viewed. Just a few steps away from there to the downtown district. Great one nighter! The one negative is the CG parking surface. The large gravel makes its difficult to place leveling blocks.

If you need full hookups, this is one of about three options in Silverton. The campsites are all cramped with very tight space. Big rigs can fit here. See our blog post for more information and photos.

We did not stay here, but had a code brown emergency and used their dump station. The dump station was $10, and had a non-threaded rinsing hose. No potable water.Potable water would have been an extra $10.The lady at the office was grumpy; sorry for trying to give you money.

  • Great views of the Durango-Silverton trains!
