My opinion is that my assigned space was too small and should not be a camp site at all. The whole N row only has one entry/exit and gets blocked by people checking in. The whole N row only has one entry/exit and gets blocked by people checking in. I walked the rest of the park and the other sites looked good. Used the showers and they are clean. This was my third stay at a KOA park and it ranks at the bottom. If asked I will say "If possible stay outside of row N." I would also mention the freeway and train noise, Also, be careful of the tunnel if coming form the south. I didn't sleep the first night. I come to Pueblo once a year, I will not stay here again.

This KOA has had a lot of attention to detail put into it and it shows. Yes it is right on Interstate 25 so you get highway noise, but it is also a KOA Journey which means it is convenient to main thoroughfares. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and well kept and the views of Pikes Peak, and other front range mountains are amazing. The sites are spacious and all pull through with cable TV at every site and wifi. The campground is open year round and does have long term stay options. We highly recommend the Pueblo KOA which was recently awarded KOA Campground of the Year!

I was driving too fast and instead of telling me to slow down, he screamed at me and violently waved his fists at me. I then said "oops", waved my hand and slowed down. This was not the end of the interaction you see, Mike tore down the driveway going faster than the posted 5 MPH limit in his golf cart and chased me down to scream at me once again. I told him that he could talk to me that way and he then screamed at me again. Literally, he screamed at me. When I told him that I did slow down, he screamed again at me and I then told him I would report him to corporate. He said, “Good, want the number?” I said, "yes and what is your name?" and he told me Mike and that he owned the place.I have stayed at many many KOA and prefer them but I have never been spoken to the way Mike spoke to me. I will never frequent this KOA again. I am very disappointed and hope that Mike is spoken to on how to treat people with better customer service. Beware if you stay here!Plus it is very windy with little to no shade on dirt.

Tether ball didn’t have a ball on it, assuming maybe that’s seasonal. Hot tub isn’t a commercial tub and there was already a couple in it, so we didn’t get in. Dog park is HUGE - the dogs loved it! But, it’s pretty far away from the camp sites, back behind where people store their campers. I personally didn’t feel safe bringing the dogs all the way out there by myself. They said they didn’t have a site to accommodate us with our toad attached, so we had to unhook. When we went to pull in to the spot they assigned us, it was occupied. They finally got us into a site, which was large enough to accommodate us with our toad attached, so we re-hooked up. It was annoying that we had to unhook for no reason, and it took them 3 tries to get us into a site. Overall though, park was clean. Gravel. Level. We would not choose to stay here again, but it’s a fine place for a one night stop.

Saw a mom and her kids were walking around in their swimwear. I felt badly for them! It’s a good location if you want to go to Royal Gorge or to Colorado Springs. There are some trees here. Just off the highway and the big trucks can be heard rumbling along. We would stay here again.
