Loved this place! Very quiet and very well maintained. The sauna was such a nicely added feature. The property is pristine, well managed, and very unique! - Most sites are very large pull-throughs with additional parking at each site which increases the size of your site, especially if you don't have more than one vehicle.- The sites are very level and well laid out. The hookups are accessible for either side of your camper and so allows for versatility in how you set up camp.- There are lots of amenities at the campground including hammocks, games, (horseshoe and cornhole) and even an outdoor sauna that would be great for chilly nights.- Reservations and arrival were super easy.- The campground is on a plateau, so the sweeping views are beautiful, and at night, you can see a million stars!- The bathrooms/showers are new, clean, and easily accessible for all campers.- Good quality fire rings and picnic tables at each site.- The host/owner is super friendly, and you can tell she puts a lot of love and hard work into the campground.CONS:- It's noisy. This area is an ATV enthusiast's dream, which could be a plus for many. For us, it wasn't, primarily because this park doesn't seem to follow the typical campground restrictions of only allowing ATVs to be used to enter and exit the park. People driving around the campsite in the ATVs were noisy, kicked-up dirt, and just generally ruined the otherwise peaceful experience of this remote location.- There is NO shade, and this area of CO is pretty hot in summer. Temps were in the mid 90s during our stay.We would definitely stay here again, especially if they were to limit the use of ATVs while inside the park.
