Very well managed park with big sites among tall trees. Clean bathroom/showers and access to the Lake George area. The well stocked camp store has fair prices with firewood delivery. The well stocked camp store has fair prices with firewood delivery. We had never stayed in a park that did not allow pets and to us this was a bonus! Nothing against our furry friends but the experience was very nice. Nice playground for the kids, beautiful pool and very nice rec room with a pool table, ping pong and Foosball. The upgraded $3 per day wi fi was ok except during prime time. HOWEVER, the traffic in town, especially on the weekend, really dampened the experience. I am happy for the shops and restaurants but just not our style. The term Tourist Trap, really fits for Lake George.

We needed a place to stay while our truck was being worked on and we stumbled upon Ledge View RV Park. Patty, Kevin, and Sharon were all amazing. We were unsure how long we would need to stay, but Patty was able to accommodate us quickly and get us into a great spot that we didn't need to worry about leaving. On the truck, we needed to replace the engine or purchase another truck. We decided to fly home, buy a truck and drive back. Patty even drove us to the airport in Albany! The customer service that we received was absolutely amazing. We were treated like family by every member of staff at the park and even by the fellow campers. Patty bent over backwards to accommodate us, give suggestions, advice, and more. The entire staff helped take a stressful situation and turn it into a positive experience. The RV Park is immaculate everywhere. The spaces were very well maintained and the restrooms/shower house was super clean, even cleaner than my bathroom at home! The showers had great hot water and spray which made you want to linger. The sites have water, power, and septic to them and the water was like pure spring water and tasted awesome! The Camp Store was full of everything that we needed (and then some). The pool was a great spot to relax and soak in the sun or read a book and the Rec Hall was full of any type of game you wanted. We felt like we never wanted to leave. The location is perfect and located close to everything, but off the beaten path so it is quiet and private. Once we drove our new truck back to Lake George and picked up our trailer we stayed at Ledge View again to get setup and continue our adventures. We stayed here twice for a total of 8 days and this is the ONLY place we will stay when traveling through this area again.Thank you Patty, Kevin, and Sharon!!

  • A beautiful, quiet campground, nestled in tall pines.

This is a really nice campground, though they have more rules than most places. If you don't mind the rules, it's a really nice place. For instance, no "clotheslines", which is mildly inconvenient, but we worked around it.Not a lot of children, many retirees. The semi-permanent resident sites are very nice and well maintained....moreThis is a really nice campground, though they have more rules than most places. The semi-permanent resident sites are very nice and well maintained.Blacktop roads, mostly flat, slight hills, beautiful tall pine wooded area.Nice pool, though it is not heated so spring and fall swims are chilly.Really nice game room, shuffle board and "recumbent/3-wheeled cruiser" bicycle rentals that are fun to try. They are adding more sites which should be ready in 2018 or 2019, I'd guess.Very, very clean restrooms!
