It was relatively convenient but neither shower worked. After using up many quarters sent staff an email and called and left a message, neither of which they ever responded to. Also, there was a car partially blocking the road at the entrance and something seemed odd around the park. Spend your time somewhere else if you can.

Dump on site. They only have 10 of these sites and lots of dry spots in the back. Very close to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Can get very windy here. We’d definitely stay again.

This place is amazing. The pool is great for kids. My kids would not get out of the pool all day. It’s warm water and they have a small slide, baby pool, and hot tub. If you don’t have kids, they also have a 21+ year old greenhouse with hot tubs and a small bar. It was fantastic!

We really enjoyed this as a destination getaway during winter on our trip south. The Sand Dunes were covered in snow, but we got to spend lots of time in the Greenhouse hot springs with great drinks and food. We would absolutely come back here again.

In general, the sites were decent, the bathrooms were clean, and the view of the mountains were great. Far and away the best (only?) reason to stay here was the proximity to Great Sand Dunes NP (still 40 miles from the park entrance). Positives: Pool, gift shop, on-site food/bar, sand board rentals for park experience. On the downside, the sites were super tight (our water hook up was under the awning of our neighbor), the “additional bathrooms” were porta-potties, and you have to pay to use the pool and pay to use the (just two) showers. The pool is a public pool and was loaded with people who weren’t camping, to the point that the kids didn’t ever want to swim while we were there.

  • Great RV park for your Great Sand Dunes NP experience.

The food was good and the wine and beer was reasonably priced. We really enjoyed soaking in all of the pools. Everything was very clean and it was fun walking around and seeing all of the tropical plants including a pineapple growing in the greenhouse! We came in early April so the campground was essentially empty and it was super quiet for us.

If you like hot springs and killer views come visit. Beautifully maintained oasis in the San Lois valley. This place is obviously ran with pride. They have updated and added new things. It gets better every time we camp here. Food is wonderful! Bring your sunscreen, saw some fried young kids!

There were only three other campers on a Friday night which made it very quiet. Check-in was at the pool admissions office which was a little strange, but staff was very friendly and helpful. The pull-in spots are only a few feet away from each other but still a pleasant experience. The security lights at night made black out windows essential. The main attraction here is the pool. It is a large heated outdoor pool with a smaller indoor therapy pool. Loved swimming here after a morning workout. Getting to Great Sand Dunes National Park is about a 40 minute drive, even though you can see the dunes from the campground. Coin showers were semi-clean, laundry was $2.00 per wash and $2.00 per dry. Food on site was delicious. With all of these amenities, it was hard to leave site, knowing that town is at least half an hour away. If you arrive on a Thursday (or try to call), reserve online and set yourself up. Pay in the morning. Overall a great experience for a reasonable rate. Bring your swimsuit and some disposable $$.

The facility has a large hot spring cement pool with diving boards. There is a great grill with a nice menu and really fresh and tasty food, especially their burgers. It's very popular with valley families. Lots of birthdays. Lots of splashing in the main pool. There is a side hot tub in the main pool area and a kids pool. There is a brand new adults only hot house with cement hot springs pools that is really nice. You can walk into the pools there as it has one sloping pool so if you are less mobile this might be nice for you to get in. The adult area has a bar for adult beverages. It's pretty relaxing in their as it has nice lawn chair to relax in. One of the tubs is really very hot. There is a small sauna booth. There are about 8 or so full RV pull-through spots with full electric/water. There is a dump there and heated bathrooms with two showers. In addition there is a dry camping pull-through area. It's dusty dirty there. Also there are tent spots. You can also rent small cabins and large cabins. We've stayed in Dry camping area and the full hookups area. The full hookups area is nicer and closer to the pool. The dry area cost less. The camping fees include 1/2 price on the pools entry. There is a large duck ponds area bird refuge across the street that we enjoy walking through. If you have kids, they will love the place. Adults can relax in the adults only hot house area.If it is wet or rainy or has snow on the ground, the area is dirt and that turns to mud and that was a real pain especially because we were way back in the very muddy dry camping area.I posted our blog with more photos in the blogs tab. We enjoyed it. If your looking for a natural type hot springs place head up to valley View Hot Springs. If you looking for pools that have hot water, this will fit the bill. We had a good time here.
