Usually every snow a plow should come through and remove the snow. This doesn’t happen here, actually doesn’t seem like much maintenance happens here. Our 50 amp was broken at the pedestal and so were multiple others as we looked at other sites to see if we could possibly move, the sewer was covered in snow, the water had issues. didn’t have any heat tape or insulation around water supply line so of course it will freeze. We were asked not to hook up unless we really needed to so we didn’t. pretty much the best thing/only thing here is the hot showers and a beautiful view of the mountains. We dealt with Paul and he was super easy going and as helpful as he could be. This park could be 5 stars if they wanted. Internet doesn’t work either. With only being able to use the electricity and only 30 amp at that, I feel the price was pretty high for all the amenities we couldn’t use. They should update the amenities to what they really are because it’s misleading. Of course getting someone to the park is 80%
Passing through, One night ok. No Verizon service or wifi

Open year round is the only plus. It was rough to see roads at night to pull in. Some sites had semi-paved but rough and very uneven. Little to no Verizon service. No WiFi. They do answer calls after hours. Good enough to catch some shut eye while passing through.
Very convenient and friendly

Stopped here without a reservation, and even though the office was closed, we called the phone number on the door, and Bob was able to give us a spot with a weekly rate. The sites have water and electric, and there’s is a dump station at the west end. Sites have decent amount of space in between and a separate parking spot for your car. There are two restrooms and two shower rooms that looked clean although we didn’t use them. You can walk down to the river and sit at the picnic table there and watch people go by on rafts and kayaks. Some road noise from I-70, but not enough to bother us.
Good location if you want to be near Eagle, Edwards, Vail

The gentleman that checked us in was nice and it was easy to get in touch with him to make a reservation and to find him once we arrived. The park is small and right by I-70 - so you hear the traffic all the time. The park WIFI was unusable as was our Verizon service - so don’t plan to be online while staying here.We did have a nice pull through site and, other than the traffic, the park was very quiet. The water was fine (I know other reviews reported problems with the water - but everything was fine while we were there). We did not have a sewer hook up at our site, which was not a problem as we were only there one night. There is a dump station.Overall, the reason you stay here is for the location to other wonderful places nearby. It’s a good value for what you pay. The RV park is also right off of a nice paved trail for walking, running and biking into Gypsum or Dotsero.
Good location for overnight stop when passing through, but we were bothered by highway noise

To his credit, it looks like the current owner (who is very friendly) is making some improvements but he has a way to go. Sites are slightly wider than typical for a private campground and there is some screening between many of the sites which is nice. Our site was not level which we find unusual for a private campground. Most site appear to be W/E only but there is a dump station on site. The mountain views are very nice and there is a small river that runs along the property. The Big Ding? I-70 is right on top of you and th noise is incessant. Unfortunately, there are a limit d number of choices nearby that are appropriate for a one night stop while passing through and this one fits the bill. If we were staying in the area for more than the one night, we would definitely look elsewhere. We had decent Verizon internet and were able to stream HD video.
