It is only open till mid September. A lot of the sights are booked a year in advance and many of the people have been coming here for years. Clean well-kept park owned by the city with lots of places to visit during your stay. Nice bathrooms, laundry rooms, gathering patio, green spaces. Visit town, Crested Butte, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Blue Mesa Reservoir. The only negative is that the outer ring of the park has no shade. Most of these spots are for the daily or weekly renters. The interior tree spots are long term. Staff is great. Don't speed or you will get spoken too!

  • Well kept, but mosquitos were fierce

Easy access spots with full hookup and decent wifi. Nearby swampy areas meant no sitting outside in the evenings. Bathrooms closed due to Covid.

  • Nice RV Park convenient to Gunnison and surrounding area

NO TENTS.....No Children are allowed to stay in the park at night. This means that kids traveling with Grand Paw/Maw have to get a motel room at night. The office and bath rooms are so clean it looks like they have never been used. Speed limit is 5mph, NOT 6 mph.Eric and Merry, Managers, meet you, after check in Eric takes you to your site, gets you settled in. There are 2 dog walks, One for small dogs, one for larger ones. Size limit, ck with park...Understand they have a few guidelines and being you are a adult, expect you to follow them. No campfires.Every morning a group of airplane flyers enjoy their sport of flying electric planes till the wind starts, which is usually around 9am. 4pm in the large dog run, a group gets together with their pets and let them do dog stuff. If you plan on staying here, be sure to call to see if they have any sites open.
