The laundry was also the most expensive we've seen. However, the canyon that the campground is in is beautiful and quiet. The access to the river was convenient. The employees were very nice. Site size was adequate. Really no complaints and we'd stay again if we were in the area.
Great views, annoying trains.

We stayed down by the water and only had electric and water. There is an on-site dump station that is quite small, larger rigs will have an issue with the station. On-site laundry and cell phone coverage is decent. If you stay down by the water there is a set of tracks directly across from you and trains will run randomly throughout the day and night. We had them at 10:30pm, 11:00pm 2:30 am, 3:00am, 5:26am that I can recall. They start breaking for Glennwood Springs so you get to hear a nice squealing for a few minutes. The park was nice and clean, bathrooms and showers available. Water pressure mimics that of your rv, so more space is the feature. Site are crammed together, no real room to spread out on the water lots.
The river is so delightfully loud!

Something about the sound of running water drops my BP. If you opt for the waterfront spots you won’t be sorry. Flat. Literally feet from the CO River. Rafting & zipline available here. We needed a “treat” night before a stretch of dry camping. This was perfect.
Over priced for what you get.

I would not call this a resort. Gravel parking lot, with adequate bathhouse. Pay extra for crappy internet. The sites down by the river looked best but only for smaller Riggs. Staff was very nice. Lots of cabins for rent. Grounds crew making lots of noise all day.Great bike trail runs next to property.

Our sewer hook-up wasn’t working properly. Super disappointed that despite the lovely weather, all the fun stuff was closed - the adventure course, zipline, playground and bar/grill. Weak wifi at our campsite despite being right next to the bar/grill - we had to use our hotspot for everything. Laundry facility is small and could use updating, but it got the job done. We did not hardly hear the train. Overall, the gorgeous surroundings made it all worth it.

Shockingly expensive. If you have kids do not stay here. Seven dollars per child per night. Unreal. I have no idea what that fee is for. There is no pool. The playground is closed. I asked about the expense I was told if I have my own bike I can ride on the paved path...it isn’t located on their property. On the plus side, if you want to test your shocks the 8 angled speed bumps on the way in and out will do just that. The train sounds even louder as it echoes through the canyon.Enjoy.

This place had an opening and we grabbed it. All the amenities are here, staff was very polite and helpful, right in Colorado river. The cons: we are so squeezed in together it feels unsafe during this time of social distancing. The woman next door has two bug zappers she is swinging around. The cars are so crowded it’s hard to move. I am sure it’s a great place for many people but not our style.

Great river front sites in a beautiful canyon. Onsite rafting/tubing outfitter and close to Glenwood Springs. It does get windy and dusty. Had to drop a star for experience with front office and restaurant manager, had poor experience with both. But would like to come back and spend more time as there is a lot of stuff to do.
Pricey, but location is great.

We were here during Covid so facilities were closed and their bar and grill were closed. They have rafting right from the campground as well as access to a beautiful bike trail along river. Only negative was the utility layout at the site. The electricity is all the way in the back of site, the water is right in the middle and the sewer is way in the front...kinda goofy, but workable and did not detract from our enjoyment. Host (Kevin) was super nice and helpful. Will definitely come back to enjoy the amenities when fully opened.

There's a zipline course and whitewater rafting opportunities right on-site. At night you can hear the river right outside your window at the water/electric only sites and it's SO lovely.

We live close but came for a weekend getaway and it was a perfect recharge. 34ft TT that fit perfectly in our spot and had plenty of room to extend our awning out completely. 50amp, 30amp, and 20amp all at our sight; plus water and sewer. The big rig sights are all back in and can fit some pretty big rigs. About 5 minutes from Glenwood Springs and the infamous hot springs pool. Pool is pretty pricey but worth it with all the activities that are there. On sight at your campground there is white water rafting trips, a Zipline, an obstacle course, and a bar and grill. The river runs right past the grounds but only if you are in a smaller rig can you park on the lower half by the water. The sight was more expensive than we expected but compared to getting a hotel in the area it was nothing. Campground has WiFi hotspot at the bar and grill but our Sprint service was perfect. Our neighbors had At&t and they said it was ok. I know from living here that At&t is terrible in Western Colorado and your best bet is Sprint or Verizon here.

Nothing special for the price we paid. If you are small enough, there are some really nice sites on the river. The location of the resort is nice as you are right off the bike path (you can bike 3 miles into Glenwood Springs or bike out 17 miles to the end of the bike path in Dotsero). The “resort” has nothing else, though (that you get for you money). It does have a bar and grill which was nice because you could meet people staying in the park (and they have great french fries). They have a rafting company on site and we did a river trip down the Shoshone (water was low due to the dry winter, but still fun) and there is a climbing wall and zip line in the park as well. So perhaps that is why it is called a resort. If you want to do laundry, there are only two washers and two dryers. We did not use the facilities and the price for the washers was $4.00/load - which, based on what I have paid in other parks, is high. The price for this park did not match the amenities - hence my rating of 3 stars. But good location if you want to be near Glenwood Springs and Aspen.
