We stayed a bit longer than originally planned due to a snow storm expected at our next camp ground and we decided to just stay here. It is May but still there can be snow. It is an extremely clean campground. The Wi-Fi is ok. Works best mid week. Lots of stuff to do with kids.

Great location to plug into the local network of bicycling trails as it is just about a mile from the Poudre trail. Individual camp sites were well maintained and clean. Facilities looked very clean and well kept. We did not use any of them and so can’t comment beyond the appearance. There were several activity areas for youngsters too.

I wish there was a little more space between sites. That's the only reason I rated it a 4 instead of a 5. WIFI and Cable TV worked great. Sites were very clean and well-maintained. One morning, the City of Fort Collins had a broken water line that impacted the area of town we were in and the staff stayed in constant communication with us about when service would be restored. Since it took a couple of hours, they even set up porta-potties for everybody to use. Since I always have a little fresh water in my holding tank in case of emergencies, this water outage did not impact me at all.

It is a true RV resort. Not too far out of town or to the gorgeous Poudre Canyon scenic byway (highway 14). Lots of things to do for both adults and children: playground, bounce house, swimming pool, walking paths, a lake for catch and release, pickle ball court, garbage pick up daily, laundry, and more. The campground has both pull through and back in sites. Many we saw looked level and are on concrete pads. Basic sites have picnic tables and are not too crowded together. Some, depending on the level of site, have patios, fire pits, grills, and tables and chairs. A few even have hot tubs. There are also cabins. Interior roads are gravel. The staff has been friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our site and the escort helped us back in easily. We are in a back in with a patio, fire pit, tables and chairs, and BBQ grill. We are on the side so no one is behind us. Very nice and a treat for us this week. The cons are that the cable is only analog (!) and the Wifi doesn’t work all where we are located, Verizon and ATT cell service are not strong (though fine in town). Last time we were in a more basic site too close to the games area. We personally like this back in area more. Yes, we’d return again.

They have a fantastic set of recreational activities for a modest but reasonable fee. BUT THE CELL SERVICE HERE IS TERRIBLE AND THE WIFI IS UNUSABLE! And I mean unusable. I could hardly get enough bandwidth to check the weather - maybe 0.3 Mbs up and 0.2 down. I wish I was exaggerating. I get 1 bar (variable 2) of LTE on both ATT and Verizon but neither can get the actual bandwidth. The “wifi” they offer is unusable unless you sit on the bench by the office and then you MIGHT get 2 Mbs up/down. Again, wish I was joking. Asked them if there was a place to get better and they said “go to McDonald’s or Starbucks”

You have to drive through, what appears to be, an equipment salvage yard before arriving at the security gate. After you arrive, the physical location is actually nice. The sites are good sized, concrete with a grill and table. The amenities looked nice, but were largely closed due to COVID.While the views aren't bad (trees), we expected mountains. There are a lot of restrictions that I've never seen at a KOA. To name a few: - No rugs on the grass - No stakes in the ground (to secure the awning) - No dog gates on the grassAs a result our outdoor enjoyment was limited. The internet access would work for e-mailing small files. Anything more and it's not fast enough to keep up (.81 up / .38 dn). The wifi signal was strong, the service speed was the issue (booster wouldn't help). As a result our ability to get work done was limited. If you're looking for a place to bring the kids, internet isn't important and you don't mind the restrictions it's a nice place. But, for people working remotely and traveling with "fur-babies" it doesn't work.To be fair, they didn't say there were mountain views, all of the odd restrictions were on the website, and I knew amenities would be limited. We've been to so many KOA's we didn't even think to read all the restrictions.

This facility was very nice, well maintained and met all of our needs for our 19’ travel trailer that included a full bathhouse and washing machines/dryers. (Washing machines are very small) Sites all flat and level. Enjoyed taking dog on long walks around lake (which was quite peaceful & beautiful after the snow) and grounds. I imagine this campground is very busy during warmer weather based on available amenities. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location and convenient to RMNP, various trails, shopping and restaurants.

We switched it off and just used our phones. For the price per night, i think better WiFi should be provided. I had originally made reservation for site at far back. Did not get it. Got placed near entrance. The lake is a very fun amenity. One mile path around the perimeter. Be sure to look at wildlife artists paintings along the path of animals. They are very special.

Then, the staff in the office is very nice, and they spent a good amount of time telling us about the facility and about things to do in the area. After that, we were escorted to our site and assisted into our spot. There were a lot of staff members working at the park, and they were all very helpful and friendly. The park itself is well maintained. It is very clean. The bathrooms and showers were so clean that it seemed like they were cleaned hourly. There are nice shade trees by a lot of the spaces, especially around the perimeter. The laundry was very clean, reasonably priced, and most of the machines worked. There is a lot to do for the kids. The Verizon cell coverage was strong enough to stream video most of the time except when the park was at capacity.

While way off the main highways, Lakeside is along a lake with lots for families to do. Our only problem was that it took 30 min to get there from I-25, coming and going to Yellowstone. Has a small dog park. I wish campgrounds would fence in about 30 x 100 ft area for larger dogs. They can’t be on leash all the time and be happy.

We don't have kids, but from bumper boats to a train that cruises around their little lake, there's so much for them to do and it keeps the kiddos busy which means a quiet campground. We walked the path around the lake (1 mile) and there are little exercise stations. Lots of mosquitoes in the area, so be ready for that, but the grounds were wonderful. Our site was HUGE and on the end of a row. They pickup your trash from the curb in the morning which was nice of them. The location is in the far NW corner of town and it took some time to travel to other areas. We were in Fort Collins to visit the breweries and we used Uber and they picked up/dropped off with no issues.

Not only was this camp super close and convenient to him and downtown FOCO, but it was a lovely way to start our new life. We paid extra to have the paver patio so the space was very large and rarely had neighbors to one side. Our neighbors to the other side, Angie and John, were workkampers on the site and very friendly. They were sweet enough to keep an eye on our dog. The camp is geared to families with lots of fun amenities like a pool, playground, fishing, etc. which we didn't use. This drives the cost up quite a bit! However, it is a super clean campground with a great laundry and good wifi. We had up our cell booster and got great reception for AT&T on cell and internet, though I did use the camp wifi a few times and thought it worked well. There is a lovely walk around the lake, perfect for daily exercise and the Poudre Trail is not far if you wanted to bike. Very impressed that they had trash pickup outside your rig daily and folks cleaning or trimming plants all the day to keep it very neat. The sites are nicely situated with easy wide roads and turns so super easy to get in and out even with a big rig and trailer. Only negative, which was big for us with our son nearby, was the $10 per day visitor fee. They charged this for folks stopping by or if you had more than 2 in your rig. While I understand the reasoning with the amenities, if you are an adult, it seems unfair to charge this when we would not use them or if someone were only visiting for a few hours.

We stayed here planning to get some laundry and work done before heading north to Wyoming, but ended up staying longer after getting a nail in our tire on our truck and hail damage to the camper. It's not cheap, and has a lot of amenities that don't interest us much like mini golf, paddle boats, bumper boats, a pool, bouncy play area, and huge playground. As you can imagine it is very popular for families with kids for these reasons. For us however, it's nice to have full hookups, trash service, showers that you don't have to pay for in Colorado, and clean, nice laundry facilities sometimes. Very well maintained KOA with a huge staff and someone always working on something. Also a great location to downtown (Old Town) Fort Collins which is an awesome place to grab food or drinks and walk around on a pretty night. This place allowed us to regroup in a bit of a stressful time without having to worry about any of our typical camping concerns like electricity, water, or filling up our grey tank. We got cell signal (Verizon was better than AT&T) and were able to work although sometimes it got a bit slow. Per usual, wifi here is useless.
