Sure, If you want a campground surrounded by nature then this is not your place... but if you want to be in the middle of everything and need cell service then this place does the trick. It wasn't dangerous at all nor did I fear anyone tampering with or stealing my rv, the staff was very nice, the price is better than any other we found in CO, you are in walking distance to Old Colorado City and you are less than ten minutes away from Garden of the Gods and downtown CO Springs. Summary:Negatives: The park is muddy, the wifi is spotty, & the sites are very close. Positives: Excellent laundry room with plenty of machines, great staff, good bargain, excellently located for all activities, very reliable cell service (including data). PS- I saw someone write about homeless people nearby... There are literally homeless people all over CO so no matter where you go there are homeless people nearby. Blame the people voting in the democrats, not this park.Follow me on Instagram @Airstreaming_Schnauzer

Noisy and cramped. Ok if you’re just sleeping here but no picnic table, fire pit, and all property should be locked up unless you’re on site. Seems to be mostly for semi permanent residents. Convenient to Manitou Springs, pikes peak, Garden of the Gods. On US 24 about 2 miles from I-25

In a town where parks charge a lot more ($80+) Goldfield is a bargin…..but beware it sits on US 24 and it’s noisy, very. We were going to spend three nights but the hosts graciously refunded two of them as it just wasn’t for us. It’s essentially a parking lot with hook-ups. Excellent Wi-fi

  • Good location for the city...but....very cramped. Trash everywhere.

Wouldn't stay here again. It does offer extremely good access to the Colorado Spring sites. We were put in what can only be described as "overflow" sites. NO WAY I could leave the site and feel confident that my new RV would be there upon my return after exploring the city! I couldn’t even see myself leaving my animals there for a single minute and I decided to leave and find alternate accommodations. The office clerk who checked me in, was nice enough and apologetic about the site I landed on. My slide out was sticking out into the middle of the road for God’s sake!!!Park appears to Ben FULL of long-term residents with old and run down RVs and basically care little about their surroundings. I’ve stayed at plenty of RV parks around the country where many of the guests were full-time residents who worked in the area or full time RVers, but had never seen anything quite like this. Park is directly off a six plus lane road, and RVs are literally on top of one another. No room to open awnings, let alone slide outs. I’m appalled that these people have the audacity to call this an RV park. RUN ... RUN FAST away from this place and do NOT look back!

Basic campground with full hookups. Sites are level but a bit tricky backing into sites at front part of park by automotive store with long trailer. Full hookups. Clean shower area and small laundry. Restaurants and shopping close by. Lots to see and do in area.

The 5th wheel on our drivers side which also had slide outs there was only 2' between our vehicles. Had to move our RV so they could get out of their space. Within 40 yards of Hwy 24 and continuous noise throughout the night. The only saving grace is that the park was close to Pikes Peak and several other attractions. Wi Fi was ok, have to sign on every morning. Would not stay there again.

It has a decent location and it was easy to get to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, and Colorado City. All sites are full-hook up, but it's basically a parking lot. In fact, this park shares a lot with the Auto Zone, haha. So if you need to pick up some automotive supplies this place is great! It was jam packed and difficult to maneuver into our spot, and it borders a busy highway (24). There is very little room at all, and the "dog walk" looks like an ally from a horror movie. They have showers and laundry facilities, but honestly they both seemed pretty sketch as well.
