Campers are super tight and close together. The wi fi/internet was terrible!! Trash on the ground. The pictures on their website are very misleading. The worst part was Friday night we sat out side to have a drink with our daughter there is very close construction being built behind the park right next to our site. The workers were blaring their music and pounding away! The next morning (Saturday) we wake up at 7:30 AM to blaring music and pounding away. Other campers were yelling at the workers. We’re leaving a day early!!!

Packed in like sardines. Poor uneven sites. Sewer dump riser problem at our site. Rude staff. Poor WiFi, Pool was dirty, only a few chairs. In a questionable area of town. Close to Garden of the Gods but not worth the money. Stay somewhere else.

This place became a home away from home! We loved the rv site so much we wanted to stay full time. We stayed in a bunkhouse. Two adults and four kids, there was a table and shelf. Small but just enough for us. We'll be back!!

We needed to stay one additional night and had to move sites where we did actually get the deluxe back in and it was prettier - a bit … but only a few are the nice ones in the back that other reviews mention and ours was not.All in all, it’s one of the better looking campgrounds in Colorado Springs but still needs some improvements. Sites were small but bug enough for slides, awning and seating. Tables were in need of replacing. Had no issue with other guests. Playground and pools were nice amenities. Laundry looked nice but we didn’t use. Location is excellent for visiting Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak and the larger area. Unfortunately… Wifi was only decent (5-10mb down and 1-5 up) but disconnected frequently and wasn’t reliable. In addition, we got 1 bar of LTE on ATT even with the booster. Verizon hotspot was about the same.

It was awful. I am traveling cross country from NY to NV to visit my mom. I chose to travel by car and camp in my tent along the way. I don’t know how I made such an awful mistake in choosing this place. The photos and property map are VERY misleading. They indicate that I can park in front of my site. When I asked the attendant, she was hesitant in saying ‘yes’. When I arrived at my site I understood why. There was no way my tent and my car would fit. There was one other party already set up in the row of ‘delux’ tent sites, with two tents, they were three sites away and it was like I was right next to them. I could not imagine spending the night there. I picked up my atlas, got back in the car, and drove to Santa Fe for the night instead. I absolutely do not recommend.

  • Way too pricey. Shop around.

View - unless you stay in a cabin in the back or stand on your RV in the back there is NO view of the "Garden of the Gods".3. Dirt - dirt dirt everywhere. Even the dog run is all rocks and dirt. It doesn't cost that much to have grass in some areas. You would think the the price, they could pay someone to cut, edge, water... some grass. The 1 grass area by the back pool and horse shoes area is so tall and thick, you don't want to walk in it.4. Sites - too close together. When you are eating outside, you are right on top of the other sites dump site.5. Trash - for 2 or more days, the trash was overflowing to the point of just nasty. You felt bad just throwing your trash on top, just for it to roll off or just drop on the ground.6. Their sister site is Catherine's Landing in AK is a dream. Maybe they can take some lessons from them. Now the staff was VERY NICE and if you have kids then they will have a blast.

We booked here because our RV guy recommended and the pictures looked great. Well the pictures are false advertising. While the staff if very friendly, the campground is quiet. I am sitting here looking at another camper, gravel and weeds. I can’t even see the mountains but could see my neighbors pee of their windows were open.Too many people for my liking. Wish I would have done more research!

I can't remember how many times I've camped here. Started coming here in 1988 with my boys. Kind of cramped, but as far as being close to Garden of Gods it's hard to beat it. Kind of hard to get in and out of, but that's what you get with a RV park in the center of town.

We were pleased with the two nice swimming pools, the large arcade for the kids, and a nice playground. The reservation and check in process were flawless and very professional. And the bathroom facilities were very nice. On the downside, our reason for dropping this to a 4 star, our sites were gravel with no grass, no fire ring, and no trees/shade. As a side note, we had family staying in cabins: one had a studio and had a good experience and another had larger cabin and had a bad experience — didn’t get the cabin they reserved, had super uncomfortable beds and the air conditioner unit did not cool the whole cabin.

We arrived after hours and found it easy to do after hours checkin with out a reservation. Simple one page form and a board with the available sites. Site was clean and bathroom facilities were clean.

We were staying in Colorado Springs to visit a relative or we would not have stayed in a city. This was quite an experience for us since this is not the type of camping we are into. The sites are jam packed in, from three sides of our camper we were with in an arms reach from our neighbors. There was only enough space to park our camper on our site and had to park the truck in the parking lot. There are no camp fire rings, but each site has water, sewer and electric. The showers and bathrooms were clean as well as the grounds overall. A few times a week they sell food in the camp ground. While we were there they had BBQ one night, spaghetti dinner one night and pancake and sausage breakfast one morning (all you could eat for $4). There is an awesome dog park about 10 minutes away named Bear Creek Dog park. The park is about 25 acres with woods, fields and a creek which were all fenced in. Rudy's BBQ had great food and was only about 5 minutes away.
