Posting this review a bit late due to no service, but we dumped here on 05/26/22. It was $15 to use the dump station and it had non-potable right next to it. Easy access and the guys driving around where very friendly!

  • Well maintained space and friendly staff!

We got the last available site (#1) next to the store and playground. Very kid friendly place! A little pricey but clean, convenient, safe and nicely maintained amenities.

  • Quiet park, great owners

It is one of our "old reliable" parks. The owners are super nice and focused on making your stay a good one. You can order pizza which they deliver to your rig. It's far enough from town that it is quiet, but close enough to be convenient for any shopping or picking up takeout that you may want to do. The views from the park are nice and it has a peaceful feel - big trees in some places, not just a bare sand lot like some. It's a KOA, so by law you have to be able to hear a train now and then LOL but it's distant and not an issue at this one. Convenient to the Great Sand Dunes. Nice dog park, and there's also a pool and some amenities for kids. Nice laundry room with bottles of bleach sanitizer to use before & after, on top of them keeping the place spotless. We never hesitate to stay here, and the owners feel like people we'd be friends with if we were local. Genuine, nice people.

After my discount the price was 43.00. I asked if they had a dump station. They said it would be 10.00 more to dump. I left.

  • Close to Great Sand Dunes, level site

This was an easy KOA to find not far off of the highway. The site was a little short and close together. Quiet. Staff was helpful. They Bake pizza and will bring it to your site, reasonable.

Rate reflects monthly stay offered due to Covid. The new owners are very nice here. We got there Mother’s Day weekend and it was empty. Super close to Alamosa and Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuges for birdwatching. Would stay here again.

Stopped here one night on a holiday weekend. Lots are very close together. No grass and very little shade. Lots of families with big rigs and kids for which this place is well-suited. Restrooms/showers were clean and adequate. Friendly staff.
