So, this park is very clean, kid & dog friendly, and friendly staff. A bit over priced. Only issue I had was low voltage as the park fills up with RV’ers. A bit over priced. Only issue I had was low voltage as the park fills up with RV’ers. I heard from long-term RV’ers in the park that when the 50 amp spaces fill up, the 50 amp RV’ers are allowed to stay at 30 amp spaces and then they “cheat” by pulling too much electricity from those spaces which reek havoc for the “30 ampers”. Only issue I had was with low voltage which kept shutting down my surge protector; however, staff provided me with a 10 volt buster which solved my problems and kept my air conditioner running. My sole recommendation to others is to be to use a surge protector for your 30 amp RV so this electricity issue doesn’t damage your rig.

The front desk ladies constantly called me over the littlest things for the first two weeks and were so rude to me and my wife. The whole park is having a low voltage electric issue, it fried my ac unit and the person next to me had his ac unit start on fire because it was starved for voltage and struggling to run.

  • Awful.

We could have overlooked all of that, if it wasn't for the electrical problems and RUDE staff. The power in our row went out three days in a row when the high Temps were upwards of 108⁰. They would fix it each morning, but on the second day, we realized it was only giving 104 volts - Below the amount required to be considered up to code. One night, at 930 p.m., an employee knocked on our door saying we couldn't run our generator (even though quiet hours don't begin until 10 pm). We explained the electrical pole wasn't working correctly and wasn't safe, to which the employee told us to keep it to ourselves. He said the park has always been that way in the decades he's worked at the park and it wouldn't get any better. He also told us if we didn't like it, we could leave. So we did, a day or two later. We also received awful customer service from one of the ladies in the office... will N E V E R return to this RV park again.

Stayed 4/25/16.  The owner was very nice.  It was a great stop over on the way through the area.  The pull through sites were very convenient.

Neither of the sites we stayed in (more on that later) were level. We were pretty satisfied with the park, though it was very much the off season, and the area looked pretty ugly. The grass was dead and the river was more like a mud pit. We liked that they had the food truck there, the food was pretty decent. There was a pretty huge power issue that they had partway into my stay that they were not able to fix for my entire stay because "the owner was in the hospital" (I don't see how that's related to them doing their jobs, but whatever). The first offer was to just refund my stay and I could go to another RV park to solve my problem, but eventually they were able to find a site I could move to after a day, so I just dealt with the issue for a day (I still paid full price for each day even though my power was not working) until I was able to move to a working site. No other issues once we moved, but just abysmal customer service throughout. No constructive thinking to solve my problem, just excuses and the bare minimum to keep my money. in summary, the stay is good enough until something breaks, then the staff will barely lift a finger to help you.

Over priced. Gravel sites are short and not kept up. Staff was nice enough and there is a cafe for breakfast.

We didn't try it, so I have no idea if the food is good or not. I would probably stay here again, but only because there aren't too many options in Sacramento.

We got lucky and had an asphalt pad, many other had gravel. Park main roadway is also asphalt. Sites were fairly level no blocks were needed. For an overnight stopover, this was ok but could have been so much more. But not for sustained camping for several days; would have looked for better. Located in industrial part of town, but 3 mi away from big (newer) shopping complex anchored by a Wall Mart Superstore and Home Depot is a plus. We camped in a tear drop trailer w/o restroom or shower, so most important to us is site is close to restrooms and they must be clean and in good working order, along with hooks and shelves and a bench for your stuff. This one "barely" passed requirements. PROS - sustained hot water, rubber shower mats on floor for your feet, 1 hook, + bench, and new shower curtains. Private space with door and changing area next to shower. Place was clean. CONS - older facility in a single-wide trailer. A trip to a Home Depot for upgraded fixtures would have done wonders to the place. Needed more hooks and a shelf for your stuff. Same this applies to the sink area - hooks for a hand towel on the walls next to sinks are a necessity. Showers are cramped standard 3' molded fiberglass

Sites are gravel.
