Please everywere and hard to get into place. On Sunday it was quieter and by Monday was super quiet. Loved the week, but Friday night the people all came back with a vengence. Gotta say this crew was super loud. Park tries to remind people to be quiet after 10pm, but some are just rude! Park has a nice small store at the office that has lots of the essentials. A little pricey, but you pay for convienence. Park Wifi was definatley usable, even for some streaming that you are not supposed to do. AT&T was our Router got 3 bars and our phones were 1. Got about 4-5 mb down on the router. Phone service was super spotty. But overall we could work and watch our streaming channels. Would stay here again, but price for the weekends was over the top at $122 with all the noise. Come during the week if you can. :-)

The frint desk staff was rude, couldnt tell me where the dog park was, laundry, etc. A flat graveled spot with old picnic table, with graffitti paint on it is what we paid 150 for. There was one staff member who is worth his weight in gold, Mike. He escorted us to our site when we told him we were confused, brought us wood, and filled our propane. They need to give that guy a huge raise. If i had kids under 10, this would be a great place. Tons of kids.

This was our first trip in a trailer, call it our shakedown cruise. Nice park, great amenities and the dog runs are really nice. I left my phone on the picnic table on our way out and the staff had it and had already called to let me know before I even realized it was missing!

The second night, it was louder, but still not too bad. No partying or anything like that. It seems like they run a pretty tight ship, which is good for keeping nighttime noise levels down, overall. The park is pricey, but the location is great. Just a couple miles from so many different beach options, and close to Santa Cruz. They also have a few sites that have their own private fenced in dog area, which I've never seen at an RV park before, and thought was a really cool feature!

On the not so good side is the cost In addition to the $120 daily rate are resort fees (most of the resort amenities for kids were closed). For that money, you would hope to get decent wifi ( useless) Would we return? Maybe.

Initially put off by the price, but the kid’s jaws dropped driving to our spot. They did not want to leave this KOA and have asked to return repeatedly. Jump pillow, playgrounds, ping pong, horseshoes, very well stocked general store. Driving distance to the beach. Generous shaded sites that are fairly level.

Since we are new to this we chose a pull through. There were plenty of spots available and the staff helped us pick one with easy access. It came with a nice fire pit and Weber gas BBQ. The park was quiet at night and we only heard road traffic in the morning. Only advice is it looks like one part of the campground has some long term residents. If you want to avoid that stay away from the spots roughly between 56 and 63.

You pay a resort fee due to the amenities (pool and fun park for the kiddies). They have garbage service and the staff is very accommodating. They have a small market on the premises. You don't need to leave the park! It's close to Monterey, Carmel and Santa Cruz. Close to three beaches (Sunset, Manresa and Seacliff). Phil's Fish Market and good eateries are to the south of the park in Moss Landing. Aptos has a great restaurant in town "Red Apple Cafe" for breakfast.

It made it difficult for us to back into our campsite. Once settled we liked the site, it would be a bit narrow for someone with slide-outs but was just fine for our AirStream. This site has good tree cover on both sides and front but is exposed on the back to a road with quite a bit of foot traffic, kids riding bikes and some car traffic. We didn't mind that but something to keep in mind. The fire pit is in the back of the site which we liked. The campground is very clean and well maintained. There is a state beach about a mile away with an entry fee of $10. This gives you parking and access to the beach for whole day. There were all kinds of activities on the beach surfing, walking, volleyball, kids building sand castles etc. There was no AT&T reception at our campsite. Verizon was ok.

Other than the outrageous cost, the park is awesome! We had a site with a private deck in the back which was a really nice place to sit outside and relax. This campground has so many wonderful amenities for children including a very nice playground, a bounce pad that was my kids' favorite, a climbing wall, mini golf and numerous activities scheduled for kids each day. The campground is immaculate! Every site and area of the park is so clean and well kept. The pool was under construction while we were there, but it was too cold to swim at that time anyway. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The park was jammed full of people on the weekend, but during the week we had almost the whole place to ourselves. We are full time RVers and I appreciated that they let me have mail and packages delivered there. Verizon and AT&T 4G worked very well which we need since we work remotely. The location is perfect for visiting Santa Cruz and Monterey. We would love to stay there again, just wish it wasn't quite so expensive.

It is positioned perfectly in between Monterey Bay and downtown Santa Cruz. We actually ended up extending our stay from one week to two because of it's proximity. Watch out for which way Google maps takes you, we went through dirt road crop fields for miles to avoid taking HWY1 since we thought it would be too windy. The actual road that the KOA is on is a little bumpy and pretty quiet. The camp is set far enough back too that you don't hear much traffic. There are activities happening here every weekend and during our stay we noticed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the park was completely filled and kids are running around from 8am-8pm. On weekdays there wasn't a single camper out. So it's a nice mixture of busy and not during late April/early May. The park has banana bikes you can rent, a big inflated bounce thing, putt putt, arcades, laundry, dog run and dog shower area, helpful staff and a store with anything you may need. This park is pretty huge. We were in spot 104 which is one of 5 back-in spots with a deck over looking the pool. It came with full hook ups and a fire pit. The pull-thru spots in the back of the park are super long and all come with a BBQ pit. The park itself is big and easy to maneuver through but the spots are pretty close together so when it is busy on the weekends there isn't much privacy. All and all great park, pricey but great. Also! There are about 8 stationary Airstreams in the park for people to stay in.

Tune it in while you're there, brah. It's da kine. One note of warning: follow the directions given by KOA about how to approach the campground from the south on Hwy 1. We chose to Google the route and it was not only difficult but very, very narrow!
