We needed an overnight between Las Vegas and San Diego, and this is one of the few choices. This was formerly a KOA, but has fallen far below their standards. The women's restroom had all but one sink torn out (but torn up walls weren't repaired), and tiles falling off the walls. When my husband came back from the men's room, he said he took one look and walked out.The place is mostly full of full-timers, and frankly, walking past on the way to walk the dog was a little scary. Pretty good area adjacent for walking the dog, though, after running the gauntlet. Lots of traffic noise, since it's right next to Interstate 15.
Would only stay at Passport America Rate, not full price

This is a former KOA next to Hwy. 15 in Victorville, CA. Highway noise is loud during the day. Neglected is the operative word all over the park. See pictures of missing sinks in the woman's bathroom and shower with broken curtain. I wouldn't shower here. I was told the missing sinks have been gone since January. Solar panels are falling apart and lots of tumbleweeds gathered in corners of the park. Cigarette butts and bottle caps abound. The PA (Passport America) rate is $20/night for 2 nights. The Water and Electric sites are normally $40 and $45 for full hookups. Given the state of neglect, I would feel really ripped off paying those prices. The pool will open in May and apparently they are busy in the summer with foreign visitors who may not know they can get better accommodations at a cheaper price. There are lovely shade trees and a combo of asphalt and dirt pull throughs. The sites are unleveled due to the tree roots. They do have the former KOA Kabins with bring your own bedding. Laundry room is tiny (8'x8'?) with several washers and dryers. There is also a game room which was locked and looks like it's a storage area as well as having pool tables and video games. I couldn't tell if it's only in use in the summer. I stayed here as I needed to check my RV generator before a gas fill up and it was convenient with the PA rate of $20.00 for 2 nights. They almost didn't take my reservation as the PA website says "PA is valid for 2 nights max. PA is not valid Friday, Saturday and during holidays." When I called ahead to check availability, they didn't seem to know what the PA website said. There is a store, however, it too looks very shabby.
