First, I was so thankful when I got a call that my time on the wait list paid off. We wanted to be near Dixon, CA to visit with family. If not for Midway we would have been 50 minutes or more away. The park is located in a great spot with relatively easy access to Napa Valley, Lodi, Sacramento, and not too far from San Francisco. P...moreFirst, I was so thankful when I got a call that my time on the wait list paid off. We wanted to be near Dixon, CA to visit with family. If not for Midway we would have been 50 minutes or more away. The park is located in a great spot with relatively easy access to Napa Valley, Lodi, Sacramento, and not too far from San Francisco. Pros: Close to Vacaville, Dixon, Davis, Napa, Sacramento, and many other places. Access with our 40' Super C was relatively easy. Lots of shade. Working amenities (Laundry, Pool, electricity, etc.). Good communication from the staff. We felt safe there.Cons: Expensive by most standards but it is CA after all. Electricity is about twice what I've paid anywhere else (Note, monthly stays require paying for metered electricity. We stayed 3 months). It's covered in Eucalyptus trees and they are messy! Many long-term guests which is fine but some need to do a little housekeeping around their sites. We will stay here again. We've already asked to be put on the wait list for next year. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clean...no contact with management because of COVID. Park was clean and easy in/out.
Close to the freeway, no view, clean bathrooms and laundry area

This is not a vacation location, but a convenient stop along the way. It's located between I80 and Hwy 505.
