We were so glad to find an open private camp/rv park because all the public campgrounds are closed in Tuolumne County. Welcoming host. Happy to get clear internet signal. Small store at the office. Located in a previously logged forest with trails, fun with the dog. Calm and mellow atmosphere.

  • Cute park but too cramped for big rigs

We were in the area and scouting out campgrounds for future stays. We do this often for many reasons. We camp in a 39’ 5th wheel, so would rather be safe than sorry. We camp in a 39’ 5th wheel, so would rather be safe than sorry. We won’t be able to stay here in our rig. Very narrow roads thru park full of permanent and long term rigs. Pool, laundry and shower/restrooms appeared clean and well maintained. There was a gravel lot to the right of driveway just after pulling in where there appeared to be a few vacationing rvs, but it was just that: gravel parking lot, no hookups. Pulling into park and back out is difficult as it’s a very narrow, curvy portion of Hwy 108. Traffic moves fast, doesn’t like to slow down for vehicles to enter or leave park. And not exaggerating when I say very narrow. For smaller rigs, this would be a nice little rv park to stay in, but try to get inside the park rather than the overflow parking.
